Have you tried smoking some tobacco leaves before extracting?

Smoke as in wood fire not actually igniting the tobacco.

I have not done that myself, but I have extracted fire cured tobacco. Have also tried Latakia tobacco - a variety treated with smoke from aromatic woods. Both are good, but nothing like the stink of a burnt cigarette :)

It's not poisonous it's ethonol with bitterent added to discourage consumption. Still results are mixed and not recommend for extraction.
Where are you getting this information?

Rubbing alcohol is not ethyl alcohol(beverage alcohol), but isopropyl alcohol, a totally different chemical than the alcohol of beer, wine, or liquor. The lethal dose of isopropyl alcohol by mouth in adult humans is about 8 ounces. Another kind ofpoison is wood alcohol.

We are talking Isopropyl not Ethyl alcohol.

'Wanted to pop in & say hi, Exchaner. I've missed yovur wit and wisdom ....

Thanks for the nod SailCat. You must be referring to some of the threads where I antagonized everyone by disagreeing with them. They all thought I was a jerk, and they may have been right !!

With all due respect, this statement is incorrect. Isopropyl is rubbing alcohol.

All? I'll have you know I didn't point out that, unless you've resumed to smoking cigarettes, you are vaping someone else's residue. No, sir, and I won't, either. :D

I must admit I have been lighting up occasionally, but only in the spirit of experiment :). Hopefully By the time my limited supply of this concussion runs out, I will be back on track again....

.....................

As to carcinogens, I fully agree the hazard is there. The only positive note, a person who vapes 2.5 ml a day like myself, it amounts to 20% of one cigarette per day.
If you can't find a suitable alternative, perhaps you could cut it even farther by coming up with a mix that gets you most of the way there, then add a drop or two of your 'elixir' to bring it home. If you still have any FA Black Fire or Ina DNB it should be easy enough to experiment a little.
Or something like SC Real Cig? I can't remember if you've tried it yet or not, but it's a good Marl type flavor with some ash. :vapor:
