We smokers automatically say we want tobacco flavor when we are gonna give up the cigs. I did, i got every tobacco flavor i could get my hands on (or afford). But i thought, what the hell, why not just have a few that taste good. I have 2 tobacco flavors that i really only go after when i'm having a few drinks.
During the week, at work, at home, at play, I have some awesome flavors. Chewing gum, coffee, spearmint.

Try to remember that 1st smoke, or that 1st smoke after quitting for 2 weeks. It tastes bad, it smell bad.

I think you should have and try a variety of flavors. I takes time and testing to find what you like, but some of them are just delicious.

Buy the small bottle, mix it with some other one that just wasn't there, there is a flavor for everyone.

I was like that in the very beginning too.... I bought 3 or 4 different tobacco flavors. They now sit in storage since my tastes have moved on. My go to all day vape is cinnamon roll from Mt Baker Vapor. I have about 25-30 different flavors in my inventory but always order 100 ml a month of cinnamon roll. :vapor:

My first vape was with an RY4 type of juice. Still love it and have been trying to duplicate it DIY. No success yet. I like almost everything for a little while. I probably vape 4 different juices a day. I keep about 5 tanks going and often just mix them all together at the end of the day. The only juice I absolutely cant take is called Dragons Frozen Tear. Other than that, its all good.

AS a menthol smoker I stared on a variety of menthols but grew to love strawberry and cinnamon
Quickly learned to mix some of these for unique blends, as well as learning which tanks and MODS treated different typed of juices differently.

A blueberry waffle is one of my favs !
Recently I am on the tobacco flavored kick , discovering RY4 variants, Bobas (both versions) and Clove variants

Really liking the variety of options.
Becoming patient, letting juices steep, and starting with a nice cleaned Tank with a new coil
Trying to narrow it down to my favorite 5 or 6, slow down for a while an enjoy, and then wait before trying new options .

I imagine there are many other flavors and vendors, that once discovered will also add to my vaping enjoyment.

What's fun is one person's vape heaven isn't always affirmed !

I never liked the taste of tobacco. Even with my cigarettes, I could only tolerate menthol. It's the same for me vaping, only menthol all the time. The purer, the better. My new favorite is Arctic Wolf from Vapor God. It's cheap, but it is such a cold vape you will hurt your throat if you vape too much of it. I love it.

I couldn't see myself vaping any other flavor but menthol or tobacco for a while, well actually that thought lasted about 2 weeks when I started. I thought 'I don't want to smoke a watermelon cigarette. Why would I want to vape watermelon then?'....ah if only I knew. That was a couple years ago, now...now its just fruit flavors ALL DAY ER DAY :vapor:

I quit smoking using EC Blend - Vanilla Gorilla, I am a big vanilla fan. (EC is what the B&M store I started at sells)

I am not into the sickeningly sweet fruity flavors by themselves, although cherry is very good. I found that bakery desert flavors suit me the best.
Cinn. danish w/caramel is kickin and I found a new flavor at another B&M store called Brown Heaven that is my absolute favorite.

You just cant get this flavor with regular stinkies.

Now my ADVs are from a vendor who really knows how to do tobaccos and they're wonderful. They have kept me vaping. BTW, I'm not much of a fruit or dessert eater either so why would I like vaping them? Should have thought about that and saved a bunch of money.

WWAN........ as the youngsters 'say'. Worthless Without A Name. Being older than dirt - I 'say' ('ask'): "Would you mind sharing the name of your vendor? If you don't mind - WILL you share and should you do so - THANK YOU.:D:) I'd like to try one who knows 'tobacco flavors'. I'm just starting fruits and other ungawdly-flavors and am not certain I can accept them long term.

The latest "fruits" flavor I have renamed: "Burning Inner-Tube In An Oil Can". It's nasty stuff.

It seems to me that the OPs point is really valid. If you are vaping after have been a smoker, then you naturally gravitate towards finding a tobacco that fills the void. I've been fortunate in finding I like RY4s, but I would still like to find a strong regular tobacco vape for the nights I go out drinking with friends... something that goes along with the drinks I'm having. There are a few that I've discovered on this site that I plan on trying, but for now the RY4s are working pretty well.

Having said that, I am open to trying new flavors and have a big order of flavors from MBV that I'm steeping in anticipation!

I am in the same boat entirely - by luck I guess I found a tobacco flavour first off that I like a lot. For me its about a replacement for quitting the real fags and getting off nicotine for good. My intention is to then wean myself off nicotine using e cigs......perhaps the whole thing is pointless though - I mean I am going from one addiction to another? If I stopped totally tomorrow how easy would it be to go back to real smokes?

I quit once about 20 years ago for almost 2 years. I was buying my first house, a new house, I was doing a bunch of "sweat equity" and had to make a deadline to get in a the interest rate I wanted. My work got really busy and I got stressed out and started smoking one or two here and there. That's all it took, before I knew it I was back to 2 PAD.

I'm afraid that once you've truly been addicted it is for a lifetime. Some days you may never think about it but there will always be the thought in the back of your mind.

When I first switched to ecigs I thought the only juice that would work for me was a tobacco juice. I would never want anything with a flavor other than tobacco, no never not me.

Within a few months I couldn't find a tobacco juice that didn't taste nasty, tired all kinds. So I tired butter pecan, vaping was good again. Since then I have tried a multitude of different non-tobacco flavors. I have moved my tobacco flavors to the back of my closet.
