Still a noob here..started off with PG juice and always got dry mouth from it...thought I just had to get used to it..

Then I started using VG, but at the same time I made the switch, I had a bad cold, so I couldnt tell what was really happening...

Stuck with VG for a few weeks and the dry mouth seemed to go away. I didnt know if it was my mouth getting used to vaping or just my cold going away...

Today I ran out of my VG stuff, so I filled the Grand back up with some PG leftovers, thinking I would be able to vape it just fine...within the first 5 vapes I could feel my tongue "drying" out.

I guess PG isnt for me...

BTW, Im using Johnson Creek juices at the moment, thats all Ive used so far...still noob here..

What does the general Reo user use? Not concerned about flavor, just PG/VG?

I have a bunch of 80PG/20VG to get through, but I did an experiment the other week and mixed up some flavors with 100% VG and the same flavors with 100% PG. The 100% VG hit me like a brick wall with running nose, bad headache and horrible taste. The 100% PG tasted fine and was very smooth, but no throat hit or vapor.

From now on I'm going to go with 90PG/10VG...I don't understand how those 100VG folks can handle that stuff, lol :)

we both are PG sensitve too. living in the netherlands the only VG juice easy availible here is from Dekang witch still has too much PG in it. am not sure but i suspect it is 20% and we can only go up to around 5% PG. so what i do now is about 20 drops of a Dekang liquid in the 3ml bottle and topp it off with a VG base.

the base cost me 2.50 euros for 30ml and the Dekang bout 7 euros for 30ml. the other option i have is ordering some great stuff from the UK witch cost me bout 18 euro's for 30ml adding another 10 euro's for postal fee's. so if i order me 5 bottles then ill pay 20 eur's per bottle while doing this it cost me about 5 euro's per bottle. we vape away at least one bottle a week, prolly more.

another good affordible option for us is DIY, however it's not working for us as it needs steeping for a couple of weeks and that isn't working for me. waiting, taste testing, adusting, waiting, dumping the lot coz it's yuk...just too much of a hassle for me. buying in the US would also be a fantastic option, it's just that i only have paypal and no CC and that's why i simply can't, unless the shop has both paypal and shipping to europe and that combination i havn't found yet in a shop that i would love to buy from.

The PG gave me a allergic reaction. I use it one day while running several other REO's with VG. So I actually did not get that much of it at a time. By night my feet and ankles were swollen and I felt weird. I thought it might be the PG.

A couple weeks later I vaped some PG from my daughters REO without thinking. Within a few minutes I started feeling strange and itching. I took benedryl and it stopped.

With my experiece with allergies I know it must not be used again.

100% VG here. I do understand that most flavors have some PG. That does not seem to bother me.

Does juice go bad?

The reason I started this thread was was because I ran out of my VG and had to use up the rest of my PG stuff. The PG juice in question is some PG Johnson Creek Java, which I actually loved the flavor in my Volts. Using this juice in my Reo tastes like crap, nothing like it used to with my Volt cartos...almost like it skunked...

I cleaned out everything on the Reo before I made the switch, so I know its not contamination related.

My only educated guess is the juice works better with the 2.8ohm carts than it does with the 1.5 HH357 on my Reo? Or the juice just went bad over the last month of sitting?

......or your taste buds changed. I know that some of the juices I just swore by at one time are AWFUL now. I don't know how long you've been vaping, but especially the first few months, for me, were pretty strange. Just a thought.
