The 6 Dollar Miracle

All I want is a tank/clearomizer whatever you call it that works. Something that delivers consistent throat hit and doesn't piss me off!

I don't care about cloud chasing, I'm too stupid for rebuilding heads and I don't want to waste the time anyway. It's a lot like when I smoked I don't want o play any games I just want to enjoy a GD cigarette!

Right now I have a Nautilus ($35), an Aerotank ($$25), a Pro Tank 3 ($20), and a Smok Tech ARO ($6).

The ARO is holding it's own. I know I should try the mini heads on the Aspire but I got sick of looking for those. I don't see that much of a difference between the Aerotank and the ARO. The ARO even holds more juice. I know there are some other tricks for the Aspire but JFC this is a 35 dollar tank vs a 6 dollar tank! Plus much of the market is former smokers that probably want to just push the button, puff, and get the nicotine. Nobody wanted a song and dance lighting up a menthol why should that change now?

I am missing something?

I've tried Smok Tech's GBC which is even cheaper and that thing was decent, especially for the price. Then I figured I'd try their cheap batteries. Surprise, surprise so far it works as good as any EGO. It has the easy to read numbers like a Vision Spinner but didn't break on the first day I had it! It seems to work as well as any other EGO type of battery I've had.

I swear I have nothing to do with Smok Tech I'm not an employee, an investor or any kind of stakeholder. I'm just stating my opinion as a complete vaping amateur and lazy person that just wants to enjoy a different kind of smoke. Plus I'm hoping you buy their stuff and keep them in business so I can keep buying their cheap but effective products!

Aspire had some problems with head quality a few months back. They just released the Bottom Vertical Coil head and it's getting rave reviews here on ECF. Kanger had the same problem about the same time. I wonder if they were both buying hybrid coil wires from the same vendor.

Aspire and Kanger head issues made me go looking for something that worked. That turned out to be the EHPro Kayfun 3.1. If you don't find what you are looking for, try the Kayfun. It's trouble free, it works as advertised, and it's easy to coil and wick. After the first week, you will feel like a pro at it. The good part is that it will pay for itself in a short time from the money you save by not buying heads for your other tanks.

Below, you can see what you have to do to make it vape ready. Assembly is simple. Don't let the row of parts in the picture throw you. It goes together fast and once you've done it it's a piece of cake to do it again. You can skip the torch part. Wind the coil, mount it, and dry burn to clean and set the wire.

Being a hard core SmokTek carto/tank fan (over three years), I highly recommend da Nautilus with BVC heads for a 'plug 'n play' set up!
