Warning; the next post WILL offend some Reo fans. That is NOT my intention, I am just asking a question...
There are a lot of Reo fans in this thread which, considering today’s options, surprises me.
Have those who have voted for the Reo tried a “modern day” squonker, or is this some kind of Reo loyalty? I ask because I have one and there is nothing at all which is ‘better’ than a 3d printed squonker that is available nowadays. In fact, I was lucky that a Reo didn’t kill squonking for me as I find it an uncomfortable mod with rda size limitations, build limitations, stiff bottles and poor button placement. I feel that if the Reo was released today it would not have such a following - please convince me otherwise ( and please don’t use the ‘dishwasher’ argument which is factual for any mech mod).

2) If it won't break, don't replace it.
If you haven't noticed by the avatar, I am a career trucker, and a flat-bed driver. EVERYTHING in a big truck takes abuse. My first six months I went through five VV eGo's and eight Kanger T3 clearomizers. Then I found Reos Mods.
Once a Reos Mini fell out of my shirt pocket. While I was tarping a load of Lumber. On top of a Flat bed Trailer. On a crush-and-run paved surface that had serviced big rigs for years.
Ba-ding. Ba-ding. Slam ! A good 11 foot drop.The door flies off,and the battery is ejected. I climb down, put the battery back in and the door on, and continued vaping.
I bet your little printed circuit board wouldn't have made it halfway through that fall.
Another time I was strapping and securing my load. Early morning. with an outside temperature of -7*F. The feed tube inside my squonk bottle froze from inside my coat pocket ! 20 minutes on top of the defroster vent fixed that.
I have my doubts the imitation glass in your Fasttech tank would have survived.
When I am 500 miles from home on a two-night run, I need Vaping Gear that CAN NOT FAIL ! That pretty much rules out circuit boards, glass/ plastic tanks, poor construction or cheap materials.
And most Vape Shops don't have Tractor-trailer parking, so stopping along the way is out of the question.
Others might say "dripping flavor without the dripping", or "ease of use". To each their own.
You can vape whatever you want, on whatever device you want. I really have no say in what is right for you. If you want to blow clouds from a high power device, go for it !
But the demands that my chosen career place upon me, and anything I carry with me, means I need to have Vaping Gear that is 1) Indestructable 2) Waterproof 3) Adverse condition resistant, and most of all, 4) Dependable.
Reos Mods provide me with all of the these requirements.

No, no points. A true Reonaut doesn't speak badly about another's vaping gear. I was merely answering a question as to why I stay with Reos Mods. If someone wants another type of Vaping Gear, have at it !
I do apologise if I came off that way, I most certainly do not want this to become a "Mine is Bigger than Yours" kind of thread. Reos is Old Tech, after all. But it is old tech that just plain works for me.

It's not like I won't try other equipment. I traded for a ProVari P2, bought a P3, and I just placed a GearBest order for an iStick Pico 75W TC (and some ss316 wire) to give Temperature Control vaping a try. Just like I tried dual coils and sub-ohming.
But the Reos Grand is still the best vape for me, personally.

I couldnt care less what anyone uses to vape. If they're happy then I'm happy. I'll let people know what I like if the discussion asks for it and if it is useful to someone then fine. If not, no harm to me.

Relax, nothing wrong with passion. You didn't come off as harsh at all. We all love what we love and respect what another loves.
Quite a few swear by those. Have seen them recommended several times for building. I need them for those damn tiny screws!
To each their own. 
Could be a generational thing, older (and many other) folks find something that works great for them and don't feel a need to check out the latest whatever-it-is or mess with the hobby part of it. I myself am still using the Provari and nautilus tank, because it works for me and I have no desire to go find anything else. The juice is also a huge part of it. Once you've found the best, and your mod is dialed in accordingly, you're happy. But I like to think it's because it stands the test of time. Who knows, Ben, you may find your mod is the one you favor above all others 6 years from now! And I guarantee Papaw will, one day, many, many, many years from now, finally meet his Maker clutching his REO in his cold dead hand.
