Alrighthy..Have been using the MaxX for almost a week now. Been abusing it quite well and at the same time trying to find some reported faults with it.
For those who don't know, i did a bit of research before landing myself a Maxx. The decision process was documented here:

This was my second venture into the 510 type atties and while i'm generally still not very impressed with 510 atties, the experience was made sweeter by the battery, manual button and LED ring (which looks very cool).
I have found no defects with my unit whatsoever. It looks better, manual button is stainless steel and is cheaper than other ego lookalikes.
I've read that the biggest issue people suspect that the Maxx has is that the battery casing might separate but even so, that can be easily salvaged with some glue. Its much better than having a sticky button issue imo. I've even read on another forum of a tornado battery exploding! So sorry if i don't feel that Janty/Joye is a much better manufacturer at this.
The 510 atty from absolutelyecigs works about the same as the genuine joye ones that i had some time ago. Lifespan is about the same but this is to be expected as 510s burn hotter and degrade sooner imo. Its not too big of an issue for me since it is only $5.80 a piece.
The carts are standard 510 type. The battery has been confirmed by other members to be the same as the ego/riva/tornado at 3.7V and the 4.2V is just gimmick advertising. Nevertheless it still works great. 2 batteries lasts me for an entire day of chain vaping with battery power to spare. One battery can last an entire day with light to moderate vaping (estimates).
The Maxx does exhibit better flavor, throat hit and vapor. Perhaps its really the cone that helps preserve better flavor. But the drag is a little harder than the regular 510s.
The conclusion at this point is that it is one hell of a model and is affordable for those who wants a first venture into bigger batts. Highly recommended.
Will update more as the days goes by.
