Those are not lifePO4. Here is the link BUT they are CR123's!!!!
I'm starting to think that these companies don't have a clue what they are selling!
Maxson Technologies - Affordable Laser and Security Products

YES, my apologies. The batteries that site are saying are LiFePO4 CR2's are really LiFePO4 RCR123a's!!! I'm pretty ...... at this company.
-Earlier today the other batteries they had were advertised as 800mAh LiFe's & ARE NOT & NOW the batts they are saying are LiFe's CR2 are not either (rather they're 123a's!) WTF!?!?- Pure false advertising at its finest probably mis-read by an employee that doesn't know much of anything about batteries & should likely not make a profession selling them. ALso, DealExtreme sells both of these batteries for a bit cheaper too (& labeled properly, lol). I'm just a bit annoyed with it all. Since the 'safe' 300mAh ones turned out to be 123's in the end.
Yeah that Chinese site charging $30 for a charger & 2 batteries seem to be the only 'real deal' CR2 LiFePO4's & have the low mAh, but that's all I've found after devoting too much time to it all. I hope Rob has some tricks up his sleeve for us all & until then I'll probably just chill with 3.7V unless I really need to run risks & break down at radio shack for cheapo cr2's for a 1 time quickie-fix.
Sorry folks, the dude from that bunk falsifying site was way speedy to respond to my questions until I asked him about the LiFe CR2's & after a wee bit of research found they were really 123s, my B )

(Semi-unrelated side note: I'm way curious about what new hidden gems atsmoke'll be slinging soon for new PV mods, the site's descriptions were WAY vague (to say the least) about 2 new toys coming soon, but you know its gunna be quite impressive... ahh the curiosity...)

Well I broke down and ordered a set of CR2 liFePO4's with charger for $38 from here free shipping lifepo4 RCR2 3V 280 / 550 / 650mAh rechargeable battery suit---hot selling !!! 7671639 China Wholesale. At least I'll have a charger and I can do 6v until (and if) we find a better battery. Actually, if they could ever make a CR2 liFePo4 with a decent mAh rating, the BB would be the smallest portable, safe 6v mod (that I'm aware of) around. On the positive side, my BB WILL be in my mailbox today! I'm looking forward to see how it compares to the Protege.

The only thing I didn't like about that site is that it says CR123A/RCR2 in the top left corner of the package. Which leads me to believe that those are 123a's...Unless CR2's can work with camera's in replacement of 123a's?

Let me know how it goes =X

Just got mine too. I went out and got me some CR2s a couple of days ago so I'm vaping 6vs while I'm charging the 3.7. So far it's fantastic. I got the krinkle and I'm glad I did. It gives it a non slip type surface which is a lot different than my SB. It seems like the SB is a little stronger at 6 volts though for some reason but that's fine because I don't really like the SB at 6vs. The BB is milder which is what I was hoping for. Overall I'm very satisfied.

Yeah, I noticed this as well. I broke out the Multi-meter and found that with regular Li-on CR2 batteries (non-rechargeable) they are only charged up to about 2.9-3.0v. With them loaded into the BB, I get about 5.9-6.0 without load. With the SB on the other hand, the CR123's charge up to about 3.3-3.4v and I get 6.5.6-7v without load. So there is almost a 1v difference with the two, definitely noticeable.

I'm kind of hoping once I get my RCR2's they will charge up to around 3.2-3.4v so I get closer to the voltage of the SB @ 6v using two CR123's. I've gotten used to that voltage, anything lower just doesn't seem to satisfy my anymore, lol...I tried loading up some 14500's and felt robbed, hah. It's definitely true once you go 6v, it is very hard to go back to 3.7v.

ok after doing some test i found out the switch seem to be working yet no vapor so i did a by pass on the neg side of the batt and it worked fine so seems there a connection problem so i removed the spring from the housing and it looked good placed back in the lower case and re installed the bats and now she working like a champ from what i can tell it was the spring not making contact with the neg side of the batt so so far all is well so far its blowing my stick 501 a way
