I've been using regular Boge cartos with my HV 510, and it's been ok, but I'm really looking to move up. I found the battery life on my HV 510 to be short, only a couple hours at best, so I went for the Ego. I've got an Ego 900mAh that I've been using with a VPX tank and a Boge 3.0ohm carto. I've got a couple 2.0ohm cartos in the wings, but I'm still new to the general basics of batteries, resistance, and what's the best choice to use with what. Mostly I'm looking for something that's going to give me really potent flavour and last me a while. I've heard that dual coil cartos produce great flavour, so I'd like to start there, but still need some advice on the battery/voltage/mod/ect that I should be using, as I'd like the e-cig I finally land on to last me a good day, or at least better than the hour+ I've been working with. Any thoughts?

If you want to stick with your ego Battery Try Boge 2.0 Cartomizers. They are NOT dual coil but i found on the ego that Dual coils were very dissapointing. The boge out performed them on vapor and flavor.
Its all about wattage man. Well not ALL about wattage, but a good portion of it is. Look up omhs law calculator or equation. Most people shoot for the 8-12 wattage range. A 3.0 ohm carto works well at 5v-5.5v, (5v= 8.6 watts and 5.5=10.3), and a 2.0 is better suited for lower voltage such as the 3.7-4.4 range (3.7v= 6.8 watts and 4.4= 9.6 watts). This isn't EVERYTHING that comes in to play, but it does represent a good portion of it.
Thanks, that's actually really helpful! I'm saving up for a provari as my next batt and trying to decide on the best batteries to go for with them.
Maybe that's my problem, I'm finding the dual coil don't produce nearly as much vapour as I'd like, and the flavour is always meh...
+1 on the boge 2.0. I spent a lot of frustrated weeks plotting against those who insisted I "upgrade" from a Kr808 to an ego. I tried megas and duals and everything else and when I finally got to the 2.0, bingo! that finally did me right. You wouldn't think it, but 0.4v makes a huge difference.
Now, I'm vaping at 3.7-4.2 again and am happy again to have a wide option of hardware to hit that sweet spot until I look more into a variable volyage thing.
