I feel there are too many variables from user to user in measuring a battery on how long you vape. Probably a lot less variance between users if you measure the juice you go through.

I get 17-18ml before having to swap batteries (using 40Ts). How is it for you?

I think that iJoy battery you're using is more geared towards mechs than regulated. You'd be waaaaay better off using a Sanyo 20700B.

Really, the only variable is the mAh rating of the battery, with regard to battery life. That is if you vape at the same wattage, with the same build, on the same mod.

I am comparing the same build on my mechanical Pulse mod with the same battery in the Pulse 80 and there is a very noticeable difference in battery life. That tells me that the Pulse 80 is less efficient. I expected that the Pulse 80 would be less efficient due to the board providing the exact same wattage for the entire life of the battery, just surprised by how quickly the battery dies. As it stands, I'm getting through 3/4 of the bottle before the battery dies - with a .25-ohm SS clapton using a 3000mAh battery at 33w.

Yeah, something is definitely off if you and @SonnyCooL are having the same issue. Maybe a faulty batch?

I run a 0.4 ohm txp 26 kanthal, 34W, pretty sure I get 20+ml using the 20700b (My 20700b's are about 8 months old, a set of 4 used in rotation).

Today I started with a fresh battery, full squonk bottle, full LV refill bottle, will run it down and see how many ml I get.

I did cut sleep time to 5 minutes, and sometimes run with screen off since I have my power level locked (nothing to look at until late in the day, when I wil check battery level).

I run 30ml/day pretty consistently, would go batty if I had to remove/replace the squonk bottle each time I topped it off [emoji5]

(With a little practice, a silicone 510 refill bottle is pretty fast/easy. I also avoid having any issues with stretching the silicone feed tube, which happens over multiple remove/replace evolutions.)

I ordered the refill bottle day after I got the pulse, I love it, filling is a breeze with it, a lot less hassle than taking the bottle out every time to fill and less chance of making a mess.

Well, I am convinced-- a 510 refill bottle is the superior way to fill a modern squonk mod.

My bottle arrived yesterday and after a mild learning curve, is working well. I like not having juice spilled in the mod.

Thanks to all who gave input!

I agree something seems off here. I'm vaping 28w (with 130% boost for 1 sec), and I get several bottles though mine before having to replace the battery. At least two full bottles, and close to a third. Almost a full day of vaping. Not sure what's up here?

Edit...

Oh yeah, I'm using the Saynyo 20700B as well in mine.

You know in all honesty, I've never used the refill bottles with any of my mods. I find the Pulse 80w relatively easy without it. The bottle goes in/out easily and really no mess.

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but using refill bottles makes me nervous about forcing juice into the mod if the 510 leaks. If the 510 leaks any, I would suspect it would be minimal leaking into the mod if you are filling the bottle off the mod. Esentially, you are just pushing juice up to the atty (minimal pressure).

If you are filling from the top, you are forcing juice INTO the 510 and down into the bottle. Wouldn't this aggravate leaking juice into the mod if the 510 begins to leak at some point?

I think it really depends on the mod/bottle.

You might want to look at a silicone 510 refill botte. I've used the one from LV, and one that came with a mech squonker, both were much better experiences than the plastic ones I also tried. The silicone ones have better "give", work better when you are doing the squeeze-flip-squeeze evolution to refill.

I like these new Vandy Vape bottles, but I wish they let us trim the tubing.
I prefer a "V" cut that goes right to the bottom of the bottle.
They cut the end with a steep angle cut, that leaves a couple mls left in the bottle...:-x
Yep, agreed. I checked a few of the spare bottles hoping they didn't pre-cut the tubes, but no go there either.

The tubing is separate, but it's already cut at an angle and it looks like it's cut to length as well. So not like you can trim the bottom down any/enough to help.

I've used plastic refill bottles and hated the crap out of them.

My fave is the LV bottle. The VV is also a good choice.
for me. i'm ok with it, especially for long type, first is not too soft to keep in pocket, 2. not to soft when refill (moderate) ....
I have few soft silicon from hugo sq, VV 80w but doesn't like it compare to plastic type, i never accidentally blow it up ...

Hooray! Exactly one month after pre-ordering, I received a shipping update that it arrived in NY, today! I wonder if they will release another firmware update before it gets here? If anyone needs me, I'lI be near my mailbox..
Congrats, hope you enjoy it. I've been using others when at home, but haven't left the house without my Pulse 80w since I got it. It's a great out and about mod. Even with a 20700, it's not too heavy and very pocketable. Especially with the new firmware to lock the +/- buttons.

I think you are safe upgrading it to 0.0.0.6. Doubt they will be releasing another update very soon. BTW, the update process is very simple. The first day, the download was in rar format. They updated the files to be zip files to simplify the process and put the original 0.0.0.5 on the site as well in case anyone wants to revert. Pretty simple upgrade process as well.

Enjoy!

For the feed tube, standard 1/16 id, 3/16 od tubing works. Snug in the cap, tight on the nipple, squonks fine.

(I picked up 10' of it months ago.)
Thanks buddy, I was just thinking about sourcing some replacement tubing so I could recut the bottom of the feed tube at less of an angle.

Site I'm looking at has everything in metric. Was going to pick up some 2mm x 4mm from them for some other bottles.

So converting yours to metric, is about 1.6mm x 4.8 mm rounded.

Place I'm looking at has 1.5mm x 5mm. I wonder if this would be close enough, or if I should get it somewhere that has the exact size you have (in inches).

Any thoughts? Where did you get yours? Maybe I can check there.

Thanks

I ordered mine from amazon 2mm ID 5mm OD so it fits right through top cap.
