Hey all! I ok some new developments on my Raven experiences. Filled up my tank with a more vg blend today and still no leaking. BUT.... Tons of dry hits and when it's not a dry hit it gurgle and I get a pathetic vape. Also noticed the taste was awful and burnt but that might have been me charing the wick trying to use all the juice in my last tank before a refill. So far tho TBH I am not really impressed witht them. I don't notice a crazy flavor boost. Tho when it is working I do notice more vapor. So far it's a 50/50 for me. I know I have said this before but I wish they made Stallions in a regular size. Best flavor and vapor producing carto I have ever used.

Oh and has anyone used the EVOD molded carto yet? That looked so promising.

Have a BB tank coming to test fit the EVOD mod. Also have stainless adapters for the base coming. Have no doubt this will work, and work well.

As configured, this can only be fired in a Billet Box. Since I'm currently Billet Box challenged, what I plan on doing after test fitting and deciding if the SS 510-901 adapter is a useful upgrade, is to send the original to Doug for real world testing. Who better to test drive this rig than the man with the CNC machines!

I like to punch mine at the middle of the carto, maybe just a smidgen higher then exact middle. I also punch it on a side of the carto that hasn't been punched yet i. e. If a cato has say 4 sides I punch three of them. 2 holes low and opposite each other and low 1 hole on a 3rd side and about midway up the carto.

Hope this helps :)

I've given up on holes... just a quick slice with the dremel has been working quite well...

Ayup. The angle's a nice touch, too - keeps from bangin' up the o-rings if you twist it in easy.

It's also not much more expensive than those $40 carto punches - go on Amazon, get a Black & Decker rotary tool for under $30 (or get a Craftsman 4.8V cordless for $35), Dremel EZ-Lock Mandrel for under $8, five-pack of EZ-Lock metal cutting wheels that'll last forever for $10.

Pre-slot and carry a few spares somewhere and you'll never miss a punch. Better, the whole shebang isn't a one-trick pony.

The ONLY downside is that it's a bit noisey (but I slot in the office on the far side of the house so no big).

keep it on low more manageable and pretty quiet... ;) I also hit the slot with some 400... orings never knew it was there. :)

Also I've drained this tank dry not one dry hit..

Good to see you guys are getting this figured out before I get mine lol. I'm pretty much an RBA/Hybrid guy but they are a PITA to really carry out and about. That's why I got in on the last pre-order of the BB. I like the idea of it being no bigger than a pack of smokes and the only thing sticking out is the drip tip.
