My glass finally cracked all the way down the side.... Boo. I ordered a couple new ones from 3FVape for 2.99 ea... But I managed to fix mine and create a protector for it that will probably do well on a brand new one as well. Crystal clear packing tape, after a perfect cleaning of the glass and its invisible! I've hAd it on for a week now and still as good as new! So there's a tip for you all... (I cleaned all the edges with a razor, you can even see the seam line... )

Had the billow v1, liked the way it vaped, but not the slow leaking from it though so it got sold, and been stuck on the subtank mini's with the rba section for quite a while, but now time to try something new again.

Did get the Lemo 2, and it is a good vape, but have problems with that slow leaking from the air holes after refilling, tried the tips on how to fill it, but still get leaking, so that has been a fail.

Been reading quite a bit on the billow v2 over the last 24 hours, and not many complaining of leaking with it, and then found out could get it for $24.99 shipped from Angelcigs using coupon code 'billow' and that is by far the cheapest I have seen it, so that pushed me over the edge and just ordered the silver, just got in as now only 7 silver left before going to stocking, like the black one is.

I recommend getting a roll of 26ga grade 1 titanium.

I have been using the same coils for 2 weeks now. I clean them off every 3 days and re-wick for a fresh vape.

Spaced 8 wraps on a 2.5mm should fit just fine and come out to around .15 ohms.

if you do go titanium I recommend K BEE wire from their site or eBay. It's good wire for a good price.

remember to NEVER dry fire the coils. I just wipe the wire down with 100% isopropyl alcohol before wrapping.

I've been futzing around with 26 and 28 AWG Ti, 7 or 9 wraps (I have a preference for odd instead of even numbers of wraps for no good reason), 2.5 mm. Haven't decided what I like best yet. Something that definitely has been working well and is easy to fit on the deck is 28 AWG, 7 wraps, 2.5 mm. Makes for a warm to hot vape with plenty of vapor.

I anneal the Ti to its purple color (around 650 degrees f) before wrapping it into a coil. Works great.

    7wraps - 24g on 3mm diameter fits
You have to build perfectly centered. That can avoid shorts.
Cause there is no room left it will
decrease your airflow - imo less flavor

Same problem here. 3mm leaves no room for air. 2.5mm has been perfect for me. Plenty of flavor and vaper. I presently prefer 28AWG wire over anything thicker. Just like the way it vapes. I'm still trying to decide between 7 wraps or 9 or more. They all seem to work very well.

    I've the best result in flavor and vapor with 8wraps, 26g K A1, 2.5mm, 23W.
Between the wire is 0.1mm space (checked with a piece of paper).
Also it's necessary to build in the centre.
Most important (imho) is the "right" wicking. The best coil won't work if you mess up with wicking. I prefer KGD.

On my second B2 (outsite use) I do the same with 28g. (cause of slightly smaller clouds ;-)

I still love my Billow V1's - but got so tired of the condensational leaking and fill by bottom screw
V2 is 98% percent of the flavor, with zero leaking and holds more juice

Have 2 and I am really happy
I also use a 9 wrap 26 gauge and as long as you wick it right - it is sure joy

Now all they have to do is come up with a top fill option, maybe like the Uwell
Now I don't mid their upside down fill option, but sometimes the Coil Cap gets looses or comes off, and it is messy, but no biggie

    Doesn't over-eat juice at all

Not super huge air but just right for me. Lung hit with a bit off resistance

Got my billow v2 from Angel Cigs today, took 8 days, so not fast as was from the USA warehouse, but still not terrible.

So far I am really liking it, used 26 gauge, 8 wraps around a 2.5mm rod, coming out at .46ohms, vaping at 30 watts, really good flavor and vapor. One deck screw seems sharper than the others, and did cut the leg off one coil, and surprised they did not fix this, as was a common problem with the 1st billow, so will be giving them screws a sand when take this build out.

Think this is a lot better than the billow v1, sometimes next versions are not always better or not by a lot, but this is a marked improvement over the 1st one, love you can get to your build deck without emptying tank, and airflow is much better than the leaky screws on the bottom of the 1st one, build quality is very good too :)

Easy to fill, of course it would be better to have top fill, but not like it is hard to fill the way it has been designed, would be nice if these RTA's would follow a lot of the subtanks, and provide a spare glass, in case you break it, but I am pretty gently with my stuff, so hopefully won't be a problem.
