It's ALIVE,,, And to quote Tim Taylor,,,,,, "more power",,,,,,,, Grunt,,,,, Grunt, Grunt .
I have no idea what to call it but as big as it is, it deserves a name (or a zip code).
My wife calls it "The Brick", At 4100 mAh, I am leaning towards "Electricus Rediculi".
If y'all want to help me name it,,, I do have a great sense of humor so sock it to me.

Yes, your right,,, Damn that's just too big.

Thanks, At 3 1/2 hours of stress testing, so far so good. But I'm only at 4.5 volts on a standard 510 atty. I don't have any high voltage attys and don't know how far I can push one of these 3 month old Titan mega attys. My only other is a LR and I sure don't want to blow it up, it's my fav. At this wattage the battery seems to have a 5 second load limit, but that's cool, I don't hit for longer than that anyway. That could keep be from killing attys.
Edit:
I'd still love to hear what more of you guys think about it.

Very nice "massive mod" you got there gummy!
Interested to see how long you get between charges with that...
What is that anyway? a camcorder batt?
I think 'The Brick' is pretty appropriate, but I'm not in a very 'creative' mood right now, so I'll reserve the right to enter the name contest at a later date... :smokie:
Again, very nice!

The Brick,,, that may just stick.

I'll let you know if it ever goes dead.

So far 8 hours of the hardest chain vaping I can stress test it with and no sign of slowing down. It may be just the thing for a weekend camping trip out in the woods. But I'd bet ya ain't getting on an airplane with it.

@boB, yes it is a camcorder batt.

I don't see why not, I've taken camcorder batteries on planes every time I've flown in the past 20 years, no questions asked.
I haven't flown in the past several years though, maybe that's changed?
You might just want to remove the atomizer though.

"Different", yea, yea,,, that's a good word for it. ( my wife uses "weird" to describe my work).
Thanks, But ,,, I dunno, I should sell something to pay for the next on first. This hobby is starting to get expensive. I would like to do something with bird's eye maple. perhaps a meucci knock off.

edit: now I know.
A run time total of 44 hours of super, extra, ridiculously hard vaping on this 4100mAh batt. before recharging.

I just wanted something that would go all day without changing batteries. I was going through 4 CR123 1000 mAh Batt.s per day. Now I think that It could be that the battery maker just lied their butts off about them being 1000mAh.

So with that in mind I have just ordered the 2100 mAh batt for it. The 4100 is 40mm tall and 181 grams. The 2100 is only 20mm tall and 97 grams. With the 2100mAh battery on it then that would make it only 1/2 a brick thick.

I love it!! I've been thinking of something like this that can go in a drop in charger or can be recharged by charger or USB w/o taking the battery out. The Brick seems easy enough to change batteries w/o opening which is pretty cool. I saw some 2100 mAh 3.7v cell batteries but am not sure if they'd have the output needed.

I've become partial to a juice feeder though and need to figure out how to fit that too. What do you mean about the 5 second load limit? What happens How's the smaller battery working out?

I'd love to see some construction and circuit details. Great work!!!
