The Buzz from notices.com This is a brand new variable voltage PV and I have gone through a couple mods and had a couple of disappointments with them. Mostly with the weight of other mods the buzz is made out of aluminum and is very light weight. The Button on the mods I didn't like as much and heard about so many button failures on other units turned me off from them but the comfortableness of pressing the button some of them hurt or were not solidly built. The button on the buzz is solidly built rated at pressing it 1 million times. And it is a very easy button to press so I like that a lot. The button also has a reccessed button so it probably will not go off in your pocket. Size. It's relatively small compared to other 3.7, 5 and 6 volt mods. It's just a tad bigger than a little chuck. A rough guess would be 4 1/2 inches without the atomizer. The ascetics of it is that it is very pleasing to the eye. It looks like it was built to perform and work great. It has a anodized finish which I am a very big fan of. Durability this thing is built very solid ejoker dropped off his motorcycle while riding and it still turned off after riding. So it's very durable. Now onto the coolest part the variable voltage which allows you to control how many volts you want it to perform at. This is what sold me on the unit. I can get tired of a voltage and just change it from anywhere from 3.2 to 6 volts with a little turn of a screw. Now at first I thought why not just make it a button not a screw but after pondering on it some more I'm glad it's a screw nit a turn button because if you put it in your pocket you're not going to have it change it's volts, where with a button if that goes in your pocket it would probably adjust and you would lose it to what you had it set at exactly before. There is a light on the buzz that serves a purpose and shows you how many volts you are using it at, higher voltage being more violet, red being low voltage and dieing batteries. Safety this can take protected or unprotected it has a built in circuitry board that protects you against unprotected batteries blowing up in your face. That was very important to me. Even though I use protected it's nice to have that built in in case you wanted to use unprotected high drains and not worrying about having them blow up.

In Conclusion I think the Buzz was extremely well built and had everything taken into account when building this. The cost is $114 and I think it is extremely well worth it and feel very happy with my purchase. I couldn't think of anything I could change about it myself. This is the best built pv on the market. The only downside I can think of it is that he only offers 6 month warranty which kind of stinks because you paid $114 dollars for it. But who knows maybe he will see this and decide to change the warranty policy on it and change it to a lifetime. If it came with a lifetime warranty on it it would be awesome.

Update

I have had it for a couple of hours and messing around with the voltage i LIke it at about 4.4-4.6 it brings out TONS more flavor out of your juice than a 3.7 device. Wow.

I have to agree - I bought a Buzz after much back n forth looking at this one and others and since I got it I couldnt be happier. I retired my basic 510s although I still keep my eGo for outings (the Buzz is about the same length as 3 x AA batteries and width of a 5cent coin). Its had a few knocks since i got it too (off my desk onto a metal router usually lol) and nary a scratch on it.
I use the screw to change voltages when I need to although without a multimeter Im clueless as to WHAT voltage Im using - mostly it doesn't matter but I'm starting to think I just want to KNOW lol It doesnt affect anything other than my curiosity though, and its a wonderful option to be able to change voltage from jucie to juice if needed (some juices need a softer voltage like fruits, and some prefer higher ones).
I also recommend it :)

Variable voltage will enable you to get the best from your juice/atomizer combination. I've found that regular 901 attys work well at 4.2 - 4.4 volts, 3.0 ohm Boge 510 cartos at 4.5 - 5.0.

You also use LR attys if you're careful to turn the voltage down to about 3.5.

I bought Ultrafire LiON protected batteries but there have been occaisional problems with the PCDs shutting down. AW high drain LiMN batteries might be a better choice.
