I didn't know you were a dripper. You might be interested in trying a new mini 801 Vaprlife just started carrying. It's made for drippers. :2cool:

MINI-801

Ohhhh cool, thank you! Do you know if the opening is the same size? Hoping my drip tips will fit. That is the only thing I don't like about the pen style is how tall they are, but after 4 months of using them it doesn't bother me as much. I'll definitely try out a short one though to see what it is like. Good find!!

I mainly drip, but use cartos on my lazer mods for when I'm not at my desk or out and about. Since I'm at my desk most of the time, I use pen style attys and drip.

How do you get the collars off?

Ok I originally posted this in another thread so just cut and pasted here. Hubby does this for me btw, I'm not that handy LOL It is an 801 in the pics but worked the same on the BE112.

We just did a quick pic tutorial. Couldn't figure out how to work the video on my camera LOL Forgive the quality I was rushing it and they are blurry, but you'll get the idea.

801a.jpg

First using a pair of end cutters, peel up and nip a notch in the lip around the bottom.

801b.jpg

Grab the notch with the edge of end cutters and pull, peel, work loose, rip if need be, but carefully down towards the mouth piece.

801c.jpg

801d.jpg

When you get enough worked away the rest should pop off

Hope this helps!!! Happy vaping!

The last one is an SB with 501/901 adapter with 901 with long drip tip.

A coupe days ago I ordered the Ripoffs CO-94. It's long enough for a Buzz with a 801 on it. I got the measurements from the Ripoffs site.

Ripoffs Tool and Flashlight Holster Dimensions

I ordered it from Officer Outfitter because the shipping was only $4.99. Most other sites the shipping was over $10.00.

Has anybody had a problem with the Buzz being really weak? It may be the 901-510 adapter, but I cranked the pot all the way up, or close to it, and really, I'm getting better hits with a year-old standard 510 battery that doesn't have a full charge. I just got it this afternoon and really like the feel and everything, but it's just not getting a good connection or something. The voltage shows okay, I think, but I'm just using the 3.0 V batteries until some others come in, which should be any day now. Any ideas?

It's the regultor's response to your 3 volt batts - Buzz explained it to me when I used 3v batts myself. The 'make up' gets thrown off by the resistor.

Get your 3.7s and it'll blast. ;-)

Just need to find a 'dial' or 'knob' that will work well.

I would definly like to have a couple of 'clicked' spots. Like 4.9 is too hot for V4L prems. They work great at 4. But the WOW's and Turbos work perfect at 4.9. Yet the regular V4L's seem good at 4.5. Now my 510 atty loves 5.2.

Having a few set points would be perfect.

Max I understand what you are saying, but everybody would need different click points or we're back to having to get use to presets. The main thing that made me want a Buzz is that there are not presets, I can put it where I want it and fine tune it to an extreme. Of course I don't change mine a whole lot, I put an atty on and leave it on until it stops working, then I put a new one on, set the Buzz to where I like it for that atty and leave it until the next time. Everybody is going to be different though :)

Happy Vaping!!

bearscreek,

I just tried 2 X Prodigy 3V Tenergys in mine and get the same results as you.
Weird that the unloaded voltage (on mine also) is the same no matter what batteries, but the output sure is way stronger with the 3.7V batteries.

WitchWay,

I should have been more descriptive. :D

Definitely I think leave it variable, I was just wishing for first, a dial, with perhaps 1-12 on it. Second, settable detent, like 2 or three (I've had this sort of stuff on many a design and gadget). Really< i'd settle for a stiff turning dial. :D

I am really learning to love the changing watts. Easy to find the sweet spot for juice and attys. Quite something.

Even my wife, when I had her try my 'dreamsicle', with the Buzz, dripped on an atty (100% VG, smooth and sweet) her eyes opened wide and I think for the first time she understood the potential. It wasn't just OK, it was cooool. Her words, not mine. :D

So yea, a knob, dial, lever, slide, something to make it les geeky and more wifey.
