Awwww I see Max :) I misunderstood, sorry. I use the word 'cool' a whole lot when describing the Buzz too LOL. We were the opposite, I got the Buzz first and hubby who has never had much interest in any mod at all was suddenly very interested. One day with his Buzz and he packed up the Tornado he was using and said "sell it". He still has a Lazer mod he carries around, but that's it. I'm the mod hound of the family :)

I think most people would prefer a knob of some kind and I agree it would make it more user friendly. However I'm a freak and like having to use a screwdriver to change it. Not only am I ditzy, I'm a tad clumsy too. I would probably knock a knob right off or accidentally be changing the voltage every time I handled it. The way it is now is much safer for me to use. At one point Mike was talking about having it an option to have a knob or the screw turn, but hadn't found a knob he liked yet. So maybe you will be able to add that on later.

I seen a photo of a Buzz with a voltage knob and I didn't like it. It was a prototype Mike was working on and it had a white plastic knob sticking out the side. I like the recessed screw much better. :)

bear I hope your other batteries get there soon as that sounds frustrating :( Hang in there!!

Thanks for the concern, WitchWay, but I'm fine with it. I've always been fairly patient, but in the last few years I've become so patient I don't even believe it myself. I was just a little confused by the weakness of the 3.0's. I have a new Ego coming in the next probably 15 minutes, so I'll play with that (not that it'll thrill me, but it'll be handy for out and about maybe).

I'm pretty new to ecigs and currently only have the eGo so these are newb questions...

I plan on ordering the batteries along with it but if I ever needed to would I be able to go to a local store to buy batteries to fit it? (this is the main reason for getting another PV)

Can you use a drip-tip with it? Seeing it is only 95% sealed has me a little worried.

I've been on the fence for a while getting a mod because I couldn't decide on voltage, having it variable is awesome.

Hey Torke you can buy store bought batterys they are called primary batterys and the Buzz has 5 way protection so its pretty safe however i think if you order two sets of 3.7 protected trustfire 16340's you will be set batt life is lasted me quite some time and that way when using one pair the other is charging one set will last easy most of the day

and i have been using a Drip tip on mine with no issues and there is a well to collect catch excess liquid

A coupe days ago I ordered the Ripoffs CO-94. It's long enough for a Buzz with a 801 on it. I got the measurements from the Ripoffs site.

Ripoffs Tool and Flashlight Holster Dimensions

I ordered it from Officer Outfitter because the shipping was only $4.99. Most other sites the shipping was over $10.00.

https://www.officeroutfitter.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=&products_id=1510

Holster Depot has them for the same price and charges $5.95? for shipping. The thing there is that you can get it in either belt clip or belt loop.

I don't know of any local stores that carry 16340 batteries. You'll need to order them online. You can order them from Notcigs when you order your Buzz.

The Buzz is 99% sealed. There is only a .005 inch gap around the screw on the connector.

I saw that site but didn't know what their shipping was because they didn't have it listed anywhere. I bought the clip on version because they are easier to put on and take off.

Hey Hyper any store that carries camera batts will have primary batterys

icr123a rcr123a 16340's in 3v or 3.7 just they are throw away batts

Radioshack has tons at my local one does!

I was thinking about rechargeable batts when I made my reply. I knew local stores had 3 volt disposable batteries but I didn't know they had 3.7. That's good to know if you need some in a hurry and can't wait to have some shipped to you.
