I know, but no video reviews. I want to see this bad boy in action.
You guys think you're going crazy with anticipation. I was waiting on the Buzz ever since I first read about it in April. Buzz said it would be ready in mid May and I kept looking forward to that day. Then come mid May I find out there's a delay on parts and it wouldn't come out until the end of May. When it did come out I got a email notification and I quickly went to the Notcigs site and spent a few hours trying to order it. The site ordering system wasn't working right and they had to troubleshoot it as I was trying to order it. The order finally went through and I was order #26. Then it drove me crazy that Witchway got hers a few days before I did and she was posting how great it was. I finally got mine on June 4th and then I was a happy camper.
I just ordered a digital video camera so I can do some instructional videos for the " Buzz "

Have to be someone else because I don't do video reviews. My agent won't let me without a signed contract. I wonder if that bear has an agent?
more info Mr. Buzz on how many turns this that and the other to set the buzz up with out using a volt meter. i would like to get it back to 4.5 if i change settings .

To be sure you need to have a voltmeter. Otherwise you would always have to remember how many turns you turned the pot. What I do when I'm out and about is check the voltage before I leave and go from there.

I hope Mike steps in and clarifies this because you should never read more than 6 volts if the regulator is working correctly.

My memory is fuzzy about the volts but I thought I remembered Mike saying you can go above 6 volts but he doesn't recommend it.
OK heres the skinny on voltage on the Buzz
1. When you are setting the voltage the unit is Unloaded , this will allow you to set it above 6 Volts BUT when you put the atomizer on it the batteries will LOAD down ! that is why we spec a 3.6 to 6 volt range , this is the USABLE range !
2. anything from 3.6 to 6 volts will be fully regulated , beyond 6 volts it will NOT be a stable voltage ( it will try to maintain a .5 volt difference across the regulator ABOVE 6 volts )
You do need a voltmeter to really know what voltage you are at , you can get an idea by pointing the led at a white piece of paper and noting the difference between the Red LED and Blue Led , the Blue led is the output LED as it gets brighter as the voltage is increasing .
LR atomizers are NOT recommended ( and not needed ! ) they will try to draw a higher current.
The Buzz circuit is NOT designed for LR atomizers , to compensate it will lower the voltage to the atomizer so it stays in its SAFE zone for operation ( this is one of the protection circuits kicking in ) It will work But is NOT recommended.

Not exactly Buzz...the bears in these parts were killed out well over 50 yrs ago..but still lots of deer, coyote and a few bobcat left...LOL!
I found that to be true with the 18650s as well. I don't use them anymore.
I thought I remembered you saying something like this before. I just didn't remember where you said it.
That's what they said on the Candlepower forum too. That's why I thought it was odd when some people on this forum claimed the high drains last longer than the Li-Ions.
