They're already as big as a flashlight. Oh, you mean a longer flashlight. ;) No worries, I'd go it. Since I've got my Buzz what else can I do with all my 18650s?

Well you could cut the tube off below the electronics, thread the end of it, Get a bigger tube and thread the inside of it to screw on to the remaining part that you threaded, make a new end cap and you would have it. But your warranty would be toast and if you messed it up you would be out allot of dough-re-mi. It would be easier to start from scratch and build a mod and vape on the Buzz. :)

Yes, I had thought about that. However, I'm currently working on a 2 x 18650 vari-volt mod myself so I'll see how that goes. ;) I don't think it will be a tube though. Most likely a custom mod. I'm also working on a 2 x 18350 variable in the fistpack box. That should be an interesting mod, I'm still waiting on the electronics to arrive. :thumb:

I got one varivolt I made that has 14500 highdrains in it. It's a wooden box I made for it. But I vape the Buzz almost all the time. The other one runs forever on the 14500. I also have a dual carto brass mod that is 5volt that runs 2 18650s.

Cool, mine are going to be variable between 5v and 6v, so should be able to dial in something good for most situations. I just can't vape below 5v anymore. :D

I'm the opposite, either below or at 5 volt any higher and everything tastes burn't.
I find my 510 cartos work great at 6v. Atties seem much better at 5v but I've lately dumped using atties and only use cartos as they are much cheaper and last for ages. Atties at 5v and over are a bit iffy and they pop too easily. Cartos rule IMO.

wow, a buzz haiku. ... ... ... uhmm..
speechless.

ok.. mine shipped today, I'm in socal, so it should have a quick trip. now I'll make sure all my nice shiny new batteries are all charged up, and make sure I have a brand new mega carto all ready to go, so all I have to do is fill the buzz, and fill the carto. then shazzaaaaaaam!

sorry.. kinda excited about this one.

do I need a 901 to kr8 adapter? I have one, but if I can do without, I'd prefer it.

Ok interesting observation on batteries, the Buzz and the way the LED works. So my understanding, if I have this right is the LED gets more blue the higher the voltage setting and more red the lower the voltage setting. It has nothing to do with the power left in the batteries, but turns and stays red, even without the button pushed when the batteries are drained. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. With that in mind, my Buzz has never done that, well not at least at first. I was running either the AW Li-ions or the AW LiMNs in it and it did not work that way. With full batteries it was half blue, half red and the more the batteries would drain the more red it got until it turned all red and the batteries were spent. I have never had the LED stay on without the button being pushed. Well last Thursday I finally got my UltraFires from Hong Kong. I thought I was getting the ones that read ICR 123A 3.7v on them but instead got the ones that say 16340 3.6v. Ok BuzzKill has said they are the same, just different labels and they do last the same. However my LED now functions differently. It now stays half blue, half red no matter how much life is in the batteries and if I change the voltage it will go more red or blue accordingly, but it no longer changes with the power of the batteries. This is not a big deal, I just thought it was weird. The LED functions one way with one brand of batteries and another way with the other brand.

For what it's worth, I still like the UltraFire batteries better than the AWs, hence the reason why hubby got the AWs for his Buzz ;)

Congrats!! You SHOULD be excited!! And yes you will need the adapter to run 808 cartos on the Buzz.

Happy Vaping!

The way I understand it is the color on the LED changes to the amount of charge on the batteries.

That's what it was doing until I changed to the UltraFire batteries. Like I said it's not a biggie, I can tell when the batteries are going dead without a light LOL, but just found it odd. Of course if there is an oddity to find, I will find it

Ok the RED Led monitors the INPUT voltage OR battery voltage ( I made it come on with the BLUE Led because it looks pretty !! LOL )
The RED led will always come on WHEN you press the button.

The BLUE Led changes brightness with the set voltage , it gets brighter with higher voltage.

FOr batteries the Ultrafires and Trustfires have worked well for me and others so far. The AW high drains do NOT last as long.

As far as atomizers , any atomizer exposed to high voltage has a better chance of blowing , I use cartoz 808's types and they work good for me .

Others use different setups with various results ( Its hard to say for vaping , everybody has their own solution )

Witchway I have found that different batteries respond differently with the LOW battery indication ( what happens when the battery voltage goes BELOW 6.0 volts is that the protection IC kicks in and disables the Device , it shuts off the output to the atomizer )

Some batteries actually DIE or stop producing vapor BEFORE they go below 6.0 volts , that is why some batts will trip the circuit and some will NOT !.

I hope this helps , I know it is a lot of technical crap but that is the design and how it works .

Thanks BuzzKill! As long as it works and it does, I'm a happy camper!! I hit 3 weeks with my Buzz on Saturday. I'm not gentle on anything and the Buzz hasn't lost a beat! Still working perfectly! Use it for days and check the voltage and it's exactly where I set it, never moves and it's the same hit every time. There is not even a slow decline as the batteries drain. It goes from full hit to hardly any hit and I know it's time to change the batteries. Best thing is I'm using attys I had put off to the side because I didn't like them and now I can make it so I do like them. Just fabulous

Oh and something no one has really mentioned... the finish is holding up to my abuse. No scratches on it at all!! Looks the same as the day I got it and with me using it, that says a lot!!!!

Happy Vaping!

I've found that a lot of people who are wiccan/pagans have a "gift" for finding technical oddities.
