Ya its all about the pressure applied , treat it like ??? your daughter ? ( maybe a bad example ! )
All is good just done hammer it and it will be fine , after the epoxy fixing of the pot I see no reason that there will be any coming loose soon.

I am slamming them with epoxy now ( you guys got me paranoid !!! )

Not a Vapezilla type epoxy treatment !

I also looked at some panel mount pots but they were to obtrusive and stuck out and were UGLY , they would be better for mechanical fixing to the unit.

The through hole pots are a better idea , I will look at the design again and see if it is possible with some creative thinking ? This will be on the next 250 unit run .

I have several changes to improve performance and reliability in mind. It is a changing and improving process when it comes to electronic devices , just look at the IPhone or any cell phone for that matter . ( not saying this is the same thing but the process applies )

Well your idea has proven to be a good one Buzzkill, I see other vendors talking about building a variable volt unit of their own now.
As for the epoxy thing. I have been using a Buzz for a long time and I have no poblems with the pot. I think he was explaining if you stuck something in there and pryed on it it might break but my computor is that way too and if I stuck something in it and pryed on it I'm sure it would also break. I adjust my Buzz frequently and I'm sure it will last many years with normal use like any other product.

I figured it was just a matter of time before they start talking about it. I see variable voltage that is regulated as the future and in time single and dual volt mods will become obsolete.

Don't forget PWM as well. That would be the best way to do it.

Oh, I just received my Buzz and I'm really stoked with it. :toast: The Mako has gone to backup.

Except maybe the Vapezilla.

I was talking about normal PVs. The Vapezilla is in a class of it's own. It is a religious PV as far as I can tell because I see those who bought it are praying it works or praying they get their money back. Sorry, I couldn't pass that one up. I feel sorry for him really but a person has to be ready for anything and he wasn't.:blink:

I see people comparing the adjustable voltage of the Buzz to the FistPak (I think I have that name right). I think there is a tremendous difference between having a few presets and the Buzz's ability to adjust anywhere between 3.6-6 volts. So I haven't been changing mine, but I can if I want to! And with presets you are still stuck getting use to a certain voltage. There is no fine tuning. The Buzz is in a class all by itself, a first of it's kind and a true step forward for PVs. Not to mention it beat everybody else to market by a long shot.

I realize there are going to be changes and improvements to the Buzz. I would be disappointed if there wasn't. However I am extremely happy I was one of the first ones to purchase the day they went on sale. It does just what it was stated to do and does it how it was stated to do it. It's not the most glamorous PV, but definitely not ugly and for a female it's a tad big and heavy, but just ask my hubby, there is no getting it away from me. My Buzz is perfect the way it is :)

Ok so I'm curious... how many female Buzz owners are there?

Happy Vaping!

I took a look at the Fistpak when I was looking for a new PV and a couple of things that I didn't like about it is the price and you have to send it in the get the battery replaced. Fistpak users brag about going days before recharging but to me swapping batteries once a day is no big deal.

BTW...

I tried to follow Buzz's sealing instructions today, and the wire totally disconnected from the adapter during the surgery. I was afraid this would happen, and it did. ;-)

Anyway, Buzz is totally taking great care of me - far above and beyond, for sure.

This post has two purposes:

First, this is a word of caution to any of you considering taking apart your Buzz to seal it - the wire in mine was so short that there was simply no way to remove the cap without breaking it, it seems. So, be careful.

Next, if any of you have any hesitations about the customer service side of things, put them to rest. Buzz is simply awesome in this department. He WILL take great care of you, rest assured. ;-)

I agree. I've had mine for less than a day and I have to say I can't believe how much I was missing out on flavour and Nic hit with HV mods. I just tune this in and WOW, the results are spectacular. I have to thank Buzz for his assistance while purchasing my Buzz and congratulations on bringing a great unit to the market that truly delivers. :toast:

Hubby's Buzz arrived today! Super fast shipping! Told him he had to wait until Father's Day to open it. OMG you should have seen the look I got!!!! So there was no waiting and he is happily vaping away on it as I type this. I'm sure he'll be playing with it off and on for the next few days trying out different attys and voltages.

Thank you Mike!!! This was a great Father's Day gift!!! And now I don't have to hide and protect my Buzz so he doesn't steal it :)

I agree battery life on the Buzz is still great! And I'm not stuck with preset voltage, I can do what I want :) That is far better and more important to me than an extra day of batter life.

So glad to see another happy camper!!

I have made changes so that the wire connection will NOT break if you open the unit !.

" There are no user serviceable parts inside "

As I have said before we will be improving the design all the time to keep things like this from happening.

I am making Synth a new unit and will ship it to him with a return label for the dead unit . We want to make sure everybody is 100% ( or as close as we can get ) Happy with the product they recieve.

I want to thank you all for being understanding with the problems that have occurred so far , We are doing everything we can to eliminate all of them and make a better product.
