Chi-You is certainly a nice mod. After checking one out definitely want ot pick one up, but only at retail or retailish price....

Got one of these on order now from another modder in Korea.

Of course it's closed. Always seem to be my luck when trying to buy something nice. Tried to get on vaporwall to get onto the list but I'm not activated*. BS. Why don't the list open on ECF? I like this place better.

Sorry to hear man :( The FB group was easy enough to join and the list was open for like 2 days. Would imagine at some point it will open again.

I think you just have to ask to join it. He keeps to closed for the group's post privacy I believe.

Sucks that today, Vape Revolution releasing the brass Chi You in store only. They dont even sell it online. Sucks to other people from other place that want to get this mod. Standing in line right now since 5:30am and store open at 11am. They said they only releasing 50 mod. And im like the 75th person in line. Hoping Vape Revolution will give a reservation list to the people that its in line right now for the next batch like me. Mojo need to atleast tell Vape Revolution to atleast sell half of it online. Its not fair to other people that live in other states. :(

I couldn't agree more with you on the need to make these available outside of their local area. I commented on their Facebook page to this effect yesterday, actually. I think I read that VapeRev has exclusive rights to sell these (in the US at least) and if they only sell them to the people who can visit their store that is ridiculous. Imagine if you could only get a Zen if you lived near ElectronicStix, or an iHybrid if you lived near Wild Valley. All this does is create a secondary market where the prices double or triple which, in turn, creates resentment from their customer base. If this is how they are going to manage this product line going forward then I am just going to look elsewhere for a high end mod.

This is exactly the ridiculousness that made me say screw the Chi-You. People can defend Mojo's choice all they want, but those are the people that already own 3-4 Chi-You's 95% of the time. That's absolutely absurd. I don't even know what to say to this....

How many of those that buy one do you think will turn around and flip it for a 200-300% profit?

This is exactly what in my short time here on this forum and only 6 weeks of vaping I absolutely hate about this industry. Seems most manufacturers, suppliers are not at all able to keep up with demand.

I hate big government, but I hate greed and hoarding more. If you already have 1 or 2 or 3 chi you(s) chill out and let someone who doesn't have one get one.

Seriously? I have had an email notification set up on that one for the past month or two and I never got an email letting me know they were in stock.

sorry man, that's part of the reason i posted here--in case other people didn't get the email. i got the email at 2:13, purchased it at 2:16 and posted here right afterwards.

Congrats to you. I am fed up at this point and will likely not be pursuing the Chi_You any further - at least until it becomes more readily available. I understand that these companies are really small (not speaking of VapeRev - rather the mod manufacturers) but they have to see that there is a huge demand for their products - why not step up production and take advantage of the demand? If I was handy and had the requisite start-up capital I would just start a business making my own designer/high-end mods, making sure to manufacture enough to satisfy the end users out there. Maybe I am missing something here but it can't be that hard to hire some help and manufacture a couple hundred relatively simple mods every couple weeks.

Tougher to control quality at that point and would require a decent sized investment. I would also be concerned about what would happen a month or so down the road once my Mod is common and no longer the New Sexy.

I still would love to own a Chi but honestly there are more and more quality mods coming out all the time it seems. Nemesis is now stocking each week, Astro list was on FB for like 2 days and open for anyone, and others that do not come to mind right now.

I don't blame the mod maker here. Think the decision by Vaperev to do in store only was questionable at best, sleazy at worst.

I am not knocking Mojo for how the sale was handled today (obviously VapeRevs fault), and I get that with increased quantities comes other concerns. Even so, my thought would be to strike while the iron is hot and increase production modestly while retaining a similar level of quality control.

I hadn't heard of the Nemesis yet - looks really cool. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah check the thread on it here. Looks to be exactly what I was looking for... reputable modder, well built, voltage drop reports from multiple sources show it is amazing. And it has a pretty sharp look to it. Would not surprise me at all to see this one take off.
