I understand, but honestly, I would rather be in the Cuda everyday of the week, not just one night. Yes I have to put more effort in to it than the Audi, but in the end, it would be much more fulfilling for me to drive. But I can respect someone's preference to not want to do that, but I would rather them not tell me their experience makes more sense because they could take me in a road race, when that's really not what the car I'm driving is made for in the first place. Cloud chasing is here and it is a real part of vaping. Just because you may not want to do it doesnt mean it is somehow stupid or unnecessary, or that your vaping style is better or the correct way. Everyone has their own preference and honestly that's the way it should be. One size does not fit all just because you're okay with your style of vaping. I'm just frustrated when people have the approach of shaming people who cloud chase just because a select few make a bad name for it. Just be happy that the person isn't smoking anymore. Just my two cents
I just don't see how cloud chasing is a progression. Last month on vacation, where I saw more vapers at the airport upon arrival than I have ever seen in the US, I didn't see a single vaper at a bar, restaurant or even vape shop with a dirty baby diaper or dish towel wrapped around their hand blowing clouds. The vast majority of mods I saw were cigalikes, eGos and regulated tube and box mods of all types. People actually held their vape at restaurants and bars, rather than take a quick inhale and blow out as much vapor as possible. Vaping is well developed there- years ahead of the US. It is accepted and welcomed. The other is legal there, as well, at least not illegal, but I have never seen pipes or glass equipment on the streets, just hand rolled. Perhaps they are just more mature than what I see here. Rather than a cloud competition, they have vaping cruises with dinner and drinks...
I'm in the position of being a non-cloud-chaser -- 80% PG vaping doesn't lead to massive clouds! And personally, I think it's kinda silly, but that's just me; I also don't drink, and think that those who drink to excess are just obnoxious. But, as long as they don't inflict their drunk selves on me, I figure they have a right to give themselves liver disease if they wish to. And cloud chasers have every right to create weather, in their own homes, if that is their desire, but I really do wish they'd keep it at home, because some of it is really obnoxious smelling, and certainly when you're at a tasting bar, having a multi-scented fog system in the shop makes it difficult to taste anything. Keeping it in their own homes also means that any hazard they may offer to bystanders is eliminated, or at least limited to those who live with them. They have the right to burn down their homes, or blow off body parts, if they wish to, or if they're stupid enough to engage in such risky antics without learning how to do it safely -- the universe is nearly obligated to illustrate to them how stupid that really is.
I really don't think it's cloud-chasing that will get e-cigs banned; it's the ignorance of the public-at-large and the avarice of BT, BP, and Big Nanny that will create bans and restrictions, all in the name of "the public good," i.e., what our fascist oligarch overlords think is best for THEM. What is REALLY best for us -- even if that includes blowing massive clouds, or not -- doesn't even enter their greedy little minds -- THEY DON'T CARE WHAT IS REALLY BEST FOR US.
We're all vapers, and many if not most of us are vaping in order to not smoke, and we don't want that RIGHT taken from us. If we want the fascist oligarch overlords to even realize that we're here and we're ...... off, we really ought to cut down on some of the inter-vaper hostility, and present a united front.
So vape 'em if you got 'em!
