While I still greatly favor the matte/smooth, I do like this more than I thought I would!! You made a good choice.

It's like having a piece of wrought iron in your hand, like a pebble texture Very nice feel to it and very light in the hand A little vape monster I'll be putting it through it's paces today Very happy with the texture/appearance, the Crinkles are vindicated

Thanks for putting up the pics! I have to say that I was expecting to hate this finish, but I don't. It's much less textured, and yet still seems like it would be next to impossible to drop. I like it alot, just not enough to give up the smooth stealth finish. I saw the BB up on Altsmoke's site, and it looks like both finishes will be available to us. Thanks Rob, I know it must be a pain in the ... for you to go to production with both, but there will be those of us who can't decide and will end up getting both

50% will be Smooth/50% will be Crinkle...

Also we'll be adding a few SilverBullets in on that run with the Smooth Finish.
Then we'll see which people prefer, but it looks like it's a 50/50 type of deal ;P

It glides just as smoothly. I've answered this and other questions in my mini-review that was just posted.
