RDA The Derringer?

I've been looking at a Derringer clone as my next dripper. I'm all about the flavor, not so big on clouds. I usually build around 1.2 ohms with 28g, but started to experiment with 26g just because it's a little thicker. What is everyones' experience with it?

I was disappointed with single coil in this atty . Put dual 26 awg at .5 and have been loving it. Didn't care for the shorty tip though. I got the clone and have seen the authentic. Both are worth every bit of the 15 dollars I paid.. only gripe is that the slots on the neg posts are too wide. Anything smaller than 26 awg climbs the threads when tightening rather than capturing undr the screw. Its a bummer because I like 28.

Loving my derringer. Flavor, clouds, small size yet surprisingly deep well. A+.

I ditched the shorty stainless drip tip for a white delrin one to keep the heat transfer to a minimum. From what I understand, the top caps on the black and white derringers are made of delrin instead of stainless, so if you go with one of those it should keep things cooler, I'd imagine. If I find a white one locally, I'll let you know firsthand about any temp differences.

The ehpro version is spot on to authentic. Slanted airflow holes and massive flavor. Got a dual twisted 28 gauge 6 wraps sitting at .44 ohms. Great flavor and decent thick clouds.

I ordered one end of january it came the 9th of this month. Its everything i thought it would be. Taste and clouds are great. Easy to build on and i also use dual 26 guage ohms at .48. No problem with ss drip tip except if u put more then 15 drips it will spit back at you!! I would like to find another delrin drip tip that fits flush and maybe a little taller.

I think you might find the vape to be more enjoyable with a taller tip. I still get spit back though. But hey, it adds more flavor!

I got the black Tobeco clone about a week or so ago and it is AWESOME. Running it with a single coil @1.2ohms and man at 16-18w its a flavor AND cloud train.
Ive got a SS drip tip on it and havent noticed it getting excessively hot, or any spit back yet. I usually drop around 12-15 drops in it everytime it needs it. This thing has kicked my Infinite Magma clone to the curb and then some. Its everything I hoped the Magma would be, but the Magma just leaks too much (without even touching it) so the Derringer is the new way for me..

Its actually getting pretty close to making me forget my 3 kayfun 4s and just become an all day dripper now..

All I do is drip! I put 20 drops in my derringer and it works perfectly. Only thing that kind of annoys me is the fact that juice gets caught on the top cap and will seep between it and the AFC ring.

Yeah that's ... annoying isn't it!? I really wish the top cap came in a little, reduced style, and sat further in towards the center all around right above the inner AFC so the condensation would fall inside rather than in between the outer sleeve/top cap and AFC ring.
