When I was a smoker, I only had to plan on living until 55-65 tops. Now I might live until 90-100. That is a very large difference in my projected retirement accounts. Now I have to pay for a retirement planner to work out the new savings amounts. Geez this sucks. Now I have to save more while spending all this money on my new toys.

All the money your spending on toys will not go to a nursing if you live to be 90-100. Do notsave too much, there are still no guaranties. :-x

I'm gonna die soon anyway............once my wife finds out how much I've spent on supplies and units..........

Agreed...My only saving grace is that my wife still smokes analogs- $7/pack american spirits...I have used the "going one day without a cigarette was worth every penny I have spent on supplies" too many times..

You guys are hilarious! I wrote this because I used to tell people that smoking was part of my retirement plan. I can't say that anymore. Although I still live life on the edge. I do drive without a seat belt and recently started dripping and driving. It does get easier with a little practice.

I can see you driving down the road, no seat belt, talking on your iphone, and dripping. Stop teetering, your going to fall of the edge.

Have fun while you can. :thumb:

I just can't win. I didn't think about living longer now that I quit smoking analogs. I am never going to be able to retire.:(I will be working till I'm 95. I've added years to my life and the economy turn my 401(k) into a 101(k). the bright side of this is my accountant will die young due to the stress of trying to figure out how to make my retirement work.:)
