I emailed Bill our concerns while Tx was talking to Tony. He just replied.

"We appreciate any and all feedback. And we do pass the feedback back to the factory (Hangsen). One of the reasons it took my shipment so long to get here is that they were trying to fix battery fault issues they were having."

He went on to say he was out for so long because he wanted to wait until he could get the new ones with the bugs fixed but he just received them and hasn't had a chance to test them yet but he does stand behind his products. That's something I can attest to. So, we are all good again.
buy from the trusted ones, report what's good.

That's it, right there. We need to find new stealth users with new chargers. Funny that Hangsen would tell Bill from Northwest to use only the new chargers but they told Tony they are fine. Perhaps something got lost in translation. I will say that all the echomizers I've gotten from Tony have been great. The ones I got from NW Vapors have been good as well.

Still, I don't know where they got the idea to make only stealth. I like my LED light. Really wanted a red one.

I didn't mind the led light either. It made it easy to see when it was charging correctly. I have red and blue ones now I guess I'll have to get one of the new ones. lol I just needed an excuse.

CloveHunter, how IS the new battery from Tony? Of course we have to ask about the charger deal too. Are you charging it with the 300mah newer charger? And does it have a rubberized finish?

Will let you know soon, so far so good - but I hold my opinion until later.

And yes, I am charging it with the 300mAh from Tony and it has a rubberized finish and it looks really nice attached with Kuwako :D

I'm hopeful that the bugs will be/are worked out. I will miss the LED though, I love the looks i get from smokers at night. I am in the middle of my tests with one 300ma charger and one 150 charger, the 300 being from NWvapors a while ago, its been 4 hours and both are charging strong, I expect they will be finished at the same time, so something is probably off with my charger.

Also, got the mini tanks in, they work like the iturbos just upside down as the atty is on the bottom, only issues are that air bubbles can form around the wicks and cause dry hits, and you really cannot overfill, looks like there is plenty of room, but when putting the top back on the air pressure will push the nic juice out the bottom, beside that no leaks at all. Great for juice testing or for a juice you want for a short while, not ideal for using all day as the refills would be tedious.

I will be ordering new cartos tomorrow from crop duster, hopefully they will be perfect, and I will be scouting for all day vapes at chicago vape bash tomorrow/later today. Also picking up a new PV, to compliment the echo not replace it.

Victoria did some digging for me and seems to have come to the same conclusion about Hangsen that Bill from D&B did. She told me she is getting true echos in soon

The conclusion being? Are they Hangsen?!

(And not sure what role Bill is playing in this, isn't he out of the game?)

My 2 cents: The stealths I got from Victoria are working flawlessly now. I had 36 hours of demonic possession which I alerted Victoria to, but I'm lost as to what/why that was. All is perfect now. They last me 1.5-2 days, and charge in 3.5 hours.

Some questions:

txt: the auto ego you got, how does it hit vs. your echos? does it feel like a regulated 3.7 volts? is it sealed?

have you encountered a cut off?

This one is for txtumbleweed and Clove Hunter

so it seems you both recently got batts from Tony

txt's batt is sealed but non stealth (what were the mAh?)

clovehunter's batt is sealed and stealth at 650 mAh

I assume neither of you are having charging issues

What's the finish on your batts like? standard, or rubbery?

Do they hit/feel the same, e.g. 3.7 volts regulated?

And my favorite.... do these have the new 10-11 second cut off?

The reason I'm interested in the vGo and iGo is

1) manuals have grown on me, I'm using 50% autos now, 50% manuals depending on my mood and the kind of vaping I wanna do

2) As I understand it, vGo and iGo are unregulated and will give me that 4.2 volt smack in the face off the charger and trickle down from there, which is my preference (e.g. V4L diamonds)

The ego auto was a failure. It was flaky from the beginning and only lasted a few days. It was not sealed and juice might have got in it being as I was using a e turbo with it. Not a battery I would recommend.and yes it had a short cutoff time.

My last one from Tony was a black 1300 sealed with blue led on end. It has the standard cutoff. These are not the newest one he has though and I know they are sealed stealth but don't know the cutoff time.

Hopefully I won't have charging issue, don't know it yet, only charged once for initial charge.

Rubberized finish. Hit/feel is the same - will multimeter test the voltage later tonight, I think it's regulated but I'm not sure.

Obviously it's more than 7 seconds, don't know the maximum since I couldn't hit it (I have a short breath tho, so couldn't really hit 10 seconds anyway)

Had to order a couple chrome with led while I could. My juice budget spent on batteries. I am looking forward to a rubberized stealth that works well, though. Next time.

Part of me is wondering if there is any way to pop the tip on the stealth and use the old diffuser caps. Seems like all they did was lengthen the tube. hmmmmmmm....... Anyone have the chrome/stainless stealth? Is the led red there too?

I managed to get two black sealed 1300s before the ridiculous move to only stealth batts. started. I have 1 sealed 1300 stealth but it underperforms and did not come with the new charger nor was there a mention that a new charger was needed. IDK what's up but not sure I'm a fan of the current movement.

If you got it from Victoria, I think the ones she got were different. She's been alerted and I believe she is getting in the real deal. We'll know more when she gets back from vacation. At the same time, Hangsen seems to have been aware that there were problems with their own stealths and addressed them. Hopefully, it's all behind us and we are much more informed consumers now. I'm going to have to baby my led ones now and resist using them as much as the others.

A mod that charlz inspired me about inspired me to do something today. Its ultimately kind of pointless, unless you care about cosmetics. But of course I do, half the awesomeness of the Echo is tactile and visual

1) took a 510 IKV vision and removed the plastic tube and O ring gasket at the bottom

2) took the plunger gasket off of a 3ml syringe, cut a hole in the center

3) stretch the crap out of the gasket, and work the vision (minus the tube obviously)through it. Get it super tight around the base.

4) push up into the shell of an echomizer, high enough to fit an adaptor

5) fill with goodness

6) take the center plug (which most of us use as the bottom plug in a modded fluxo) and place it on the top of the ceramic cup (no it doesn't fit flush, but its good enough for now)

7) add echo drip tip

8) vape away!

I know exactly what you mean, as I did this and it's good. But your pics don't really show anything. Here's the pic I forwarded to you.....not clear either but we'll both work on that. It's basically a ce2 modded to fit in a turbo shell, Holds slightly more juice but the main thing is it solves the problem of ce2s looking odd on a fat bat.
ce2turbo.jpg
I trimmed my wicks to the top line of the useless ml guage.

The black at the base is the 3ml syringe plunger as Cyrus said. Best way to pop the right size hole is to fit it over a cartomizer and bang it rubber side down on a table with a hammer. The carto will pop through, making the perfect hole. It's not my idea but one I got from a video with a guy making his own tanks out of syringe tubes.
