Here is a shot of the 801 tip (anodized gray) from Ikenvape on an Echo 650. Funny how this color combo matches the brushed aluminum frame and gunmetal gray components on my mountain bike! The tips do fit very well, snap right in place.

That is indeed a very handsome Echo. Understated and elegant. I have been trying to order some drip tips from IkenVape but the website is down for maintenance. Hopefully this is just a Sunday thing. Does anyone know for sure?

Nice mountain bike by the way. :)

Hi JJ. I will try to find the thread about it but IkenVape is offline due to a VapeFest called "VapeStock". Sorry I don't know the dates and other info but will try to find out and edit this post.

Here is the thread I was getting that from JJ: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ikenvape/178250-so-whos-going-vapestock.html#post2994150

Even though the post is dated 04/10, you'll note he says he is "closing down shop" for it. The link to the event in question shows it'll be starting June 10th (this coming Friday). Anyway, it'll be a delay for you but hopefully they'll get things back up and running soon after. :)

Thanks, that is helpful. Typically when a website says "down for maintenance" it is a 4 to 5 hour deal. In this case it looks like a few days at least. I appreciate the info.

How many days are people getting out of a carto before cleaning? How many cleanings do you do before you find you need to throw them out? I ordered a echo kit and am wondering if I should get some more cartos so I do not run out. Thanks so much.

I'm not sure yet but it is varying depending on the juice and the person. I've cleaned two in three weeks but I have used others during that time. I'm using one right now pretty exclusively to see how long it will actually last and I'm on day four with seven refills and it is vaping good. If you want to buy some more Bill has a good buy on them right now, 3.50 each and it was 2.00 shipping for five. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-gold-has-echo-e-cartomizers.html#post3371471 You don't want the echo-e though.

I'm looking at ordering an Echo-E, but just need a couple questions answered:
1. Hands-free operation. I often find that I can (and will) go hands-free. It seems there may be an issue doing that? Any solutions?
2. The battery is threaded for the 808s, so if I want to test flavors, should I keep my old 4081, or should I get a couple 808 atomizers / cartridges to hook on as needed?

Thanks all!

Grab a 901 atty. I love using my LR 901 with Empire Drip Shield on the Echo battery. Looks great and vapes awesome. I go hands free with the 901 and a delrin drip tip. No issues. Grab an Echo from Mountain Vapor.

I use mine hands free occasionaly when driving, mowing the lawn, typing, ect. You naturally have to grip with your teeth similar to a cigar or filter cigarette and need a 801 drip tip.

Received my drip tips today and they're a big improvement over the the stock tips, but the one's I got are metal. A little harsh on the teeth if one wants to go hands free. Do they make them in plastic/rubber?

I just got an email from Nhaler and he is now selling Echos. A little expensive though 77.00 for a 1300 kit and 70.00 for a 1100. It looks like our suppliers should be safe at those prices. Drew has a big following though so I'm sure he will sell plenty. He sells the 1100 iGo for 70.00 also and sold plenty of those.

I only tried it once with two cartos and it didn't seem to work much better than running hot water through them but I was going to try the syringe flush and then run them in the ultrasonic cleaner next time. I'm on day four with this one and I was going to see how long it would go. Mwa said he boiled some of his and also did the flush and they came out good. Most people swear by the ultrasonic method but mine may not be working right. I tried cleaning a few other items too and it didn't do well on them either so it may be a prob with my cleaner. I haven't really used it much though so I'll see how it goes. The two I cleaned worked real good afterward. I'm not very good at cleaning being as I've never cleaned any before. lol

I need to figure out how to clean these cartos. I filled both my cartos that came in my kit with terrible juice that I hate. Would love to flush them out and re-fill with better choices...

I would just flush them out real good with real hot water and use a syringe if you have one. You have to let them dry real good when you're finished.

Echo carts fit inside a 12ml syringe I have. I suck up hot water, keep the tip in the glass and flush. Blow it out and do the same with alcohol. It only takes a shot glass.

I put 100% vg in one and it got nasty the first day. There must be some reaction going on. I could smell it through the connector.
