Hi, newbie here..Does the Manual Echo work the same as the Automatic Echo bats? What are the pros and cons? How long does the auto battery and the manual battery charge(I've seen somewhere that the auto takes 8 hours to fully charge xD)? I've read like a hundred pages on different threads but I couldn't see the answer to these questions :)

Turns out my 1st carto was doa! I've switched to a new one and bam! The flavor and TH was all there. What I love about this pv compared to my ego tank is that there's never a mess, just fill and good to go, no inconsistent hits or flavor, every hit tastes the same. I have a few questions, since this is my 1st time using cartos. I'm using a syringe to fill and top off, however, not sure if I just be sticking the needle on the edges of the carto or on top, of course making sure not to get juice in the center hole. Also, when do u know it's time to top off? I'm waiting for the burned taste but never get it, so I top off when vapor drops off. Is it suggested to let the 1300 batt completely drain before using the other? I find TH and vapor drops off prior to batt depletion. Again thank u all for all your help.

That is when I usually refill after the vapor decreases. I would let the battery completely drain at least the first time. I have never had a burnt taste either and I usually get very close to 3 ml on a refill and 3.4 ml on a new carto. Sometimes I refill early because I get the decreased vapor sign and it is from a low battery instead of low juice. Another good way is to recharge the battery at the same time you refill your carto and that way when the flavor decreases you know it is the carto.

Thanks for the info but I decided to buy a B52 kit from Cropduster901.com instead. I initially bought an Echo kit but ruined the batteries by getting juice in them (just had to top off!). Too used to manual batteries. Now I have 10 Echo cartomizers left. The B52 batteries are supposed to be compatible with Echo cartomizers and are manual batteries also so I'm giving them a try. Hate to waste all those Echo cartomizers.

I have one of the B-52's and it is a nice mini mod. The only problem is the battery cap is a little hard to get off until you get used to it. They are pressed on so don't try to unscrew it like I did. lol It is a really nice looking PV!

Thanks for the advice, hoping it works with Echo cartomizers? What type of cartomizer are you using with your B52?

I use the echo cartos and they look and work great with them. I lost the battery spring out of mine and haven't used it lately but I just haven't looked for another one yet. I keep thinking I will find it but it must have rolled under my desk or book shelf.

You might want to try letting the batts drain by standing them up thread end down overnight. Then wipe them dry and if they still don't work take the end of a paper clip and stick it in the center hole and wiggle it around a bit. You want to be as minimally invasive as possible so stick it in a tiny bit first w/ a little wiggle, test it and continue deeper or increasing the wiggle until it works.

I used to do this on my 401 auto batteries and it worked most of the time. When you get juice in there it can cause the switch to stick and the paper clip can free it. I have not tried this on an echo battery so only do this as a last resort.

Edit: BTW, nothing wrong with topping off as long as you make sure to take off the carto first and make sure it's dry before you put it back on.

Honolulu, Hi
i finally got my echo-e cartos which are the first cartos i've ever tried. filled it up, let it sit and vaped....WOW. I used a juice that i didn't really like and it made it taste better :O I couldn't believe it. on my 510-t and ego-t type a, the taste of the juice was really heavy feeling and just didn't taste good but with the carto, it was a much cleaner taste and i could really enjoy the juice. I used the liberty flights turkish & usa (pg) mixed with vg to make it thicker. Vapor isn't as thick as the ego-t but comparable to the 510-t. the flavor is just as much as the 510-t but cleaner. It's just a first impression and dont know yet how much mileage i'll get from it but after about a month of usage, we'll see how my impression changes...or stays :)

thx txtumbleweed for making me want these cartos so bad :D
