Dual coil Echo-e cartos arrived a couple hours ago from MtnVapor ($18 for 5, free shipping). Looking down the tube you can see the top coil across the airtube. The wire looks a bit thinner than on the standard Echo-e, and I count 6 turns.

The regular Echo-e averages 2.8 ohms. All five of these DC Echo-e cartos measure 2.2 to 2.3 Ohms, not 1.7 Ohms. That would make each coil 4.5 ohms, not 3.4. I'm actually happy, as I was a little worried about the advertised 1.7 Ohms, which is apparently a bit of a stretch current-wise for eGo batteries. I haven't tried one yet, but expect these cartos to perform well.

Interestingly enough, I did the same test and came to the same conclusion as you and contacted Hangsen about it. When I asked about the coils being 4.5Ω, they said "no , 2 pieces 2.2 parallel connection". Ok, whatever, I said. They don't know what they're selling.
These things work great! I just wish I could find tips that fit right. The 801 tips are tight.

The best tips I've found that fit are the 801 hard plastic whistle tips off of a 801 cartridge. The only place I know that sells them is Nhaler. They fit perfect very snug and are easy to grip with teeth for hands free vaping. They are much better than the rubber tips and should be what comes with them some of the suppliers should suggest this to the manufacture. Thanks for reminding me I needed to order a pack. They are 4.00 for five.

Yeah, I remember when we were looking for gogo tips I bought some of those from Nhaler. 3 packs IIRC. They didn't fit the gogo but I saved them anyway. When I bought my echo-e cartos I tried them on it and they worked like a charm. Still the best tip available for the echo.

First, remove the whistle tip from the carto. This is the end you fill from.
When you fill a cartomizer, you tilt it at a 45 degree angle and drip the juice one drop at a time from the juice bottle. You drip it down the inside wall of the steel carto and slowly rotate the carto between your thumb and forefinger. You never drip any juice down the centertube. Put about 20 drops in and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Drip another 20 drops in and wait another 15 minutes. Repeat a third time for a total of 60 drops. Let it sit a while and then drip some more drops until a few drops come out the bottom. Let it sit on a paper towel for about 30 minutes and then blow through the mouth end of the carto to remove any juice that may have collected in the centertube. Clean off the battery end of the carto completely dry and then install and enjoy. You only have this process once when you fill a brand new carto. I usually top off the big cartos that I've been using once in the evening before I go to bed and let them sit overnight. The idea is that once you initially fill them you want to keep them wet and they will last a long time depending on the juice you use.
Good luck and happy vaping.

ahh I see it is the 808d1 nice, .... im just gonna grab the batt, got everything else. 15 bucks nice. Will be good for on the go, add to my collection.

You should grab a couple of the 3.4 ml echo dual coil cartos to go with it. They are made for the battery and work really good with it.

Yo, Moto! The best way I've found is to fill a syringe with an 18 gauge fat needle (the kind they use on animals) with about 2 ml of juice, gently work the needle down between the filler and the carto wall, and inject 1/4 of the syringe, then repeat at the other 3 quadrants. Then you can easily drip some more onto the filler, enough to pool but not to flow into the airtube. Let it soak in. Important to blow it out. If it's overfilled it starts to majorly drip out the bottom, although some dripping is normal during the filling. If it's flooded, it doesn't vape as well, just blow it out gently.

For some reason the Echo batteries can't be charged at 450 mA like the eGo batteries. They say the HS E version (eGo compatible) batteries can be charged with the 450 mA chargers. Strange.

Hi All,

Why would anyone want to drip their e-juice into the Echo cartomizer? That takes forever! I have been using the 5ml 18 gauge blunt tip syringe from the day I got my Echo. It takes less than 30 seconds and as long as you remove the battery before filling and use a tissue to absorb the excess before re-attaching to the battery, there are no problems. I usually blow on the battery LED tip a bit just to make sure about left-over juice. What could be easier or quicker? Why would someone want more hassle in their lives?

In reality, that's how I fill my gogos and echo-e cartos, with a syringe. But you have to take into consideration that the individual referenced lives in Egypt and didn't even know which end of the carto to fill. I spoke in the simplest terms in an attempt to insure initial success for the poster. Yes, it takes longer to drip fill. Yes it is a pain but it will work 100% of the time if instructions are followed. All you need is your carto and a bottle of juice. For all I know, one could get 100 lashes with a bullwhip for even owning a hypodermic syringe in Egypt. Dripping is inefficient but IT WORKS. In fact, in the gogo user's manual I compiled, I even suggest that for first timers and those just starting out vaping that they should at least fill a carto once with the drip method so they have a really good comprehension of the amount of juice a carto actually absorbs before it's fully saturated.
