Has anyone figured out why there are two different boxes for the Echo starter kits? One looks blue/black and the other one looks gold/black.
I have not seen the blue box other than the pictures on their site. I also think Hangsen is the only manufacturer making these cartomizers although I have purchased them through other manufacturers but I think they are all coming from them.I believe this may be true for the batteries as well.

Been vaping all day and still in love! I can't believe that it still hits the same all day (and I have some pretty dark sweet juice in this carto) If it goes like this tomorrow all day then I will buy a bunch more of these. I would like the 650 since these 1300s are really large. I don't mind it but have been getting some pretty strange looks and it hangs out a lot in my pocket (women's pockets are very small) when I walk the dog. I love the mouth piece! really everything. sounds like I owe txtumbleweed a big thanks!

Mine came in the Blue Box (the box is actually black with blue/purple logo. The inside is red/black.

The 650's are really a good size, especially if you can get more than one kit. I like to have different juices in the carts on hand throughout the day, and having a few 650's on hand isn't bad at all. If a battery drains out there are several more to rely on as well. Though by using several 650's throughout the day I've only drained a battery twice in the last couple weeks. (I charge the 650's up every night, the 1300's every two to three days as needed.) As far as size, take about an inch off the total height of the 1300 and that will be the length of the 650.

While using my pack I've got a setup on the left shoulder strap and chest strap for these p.v.'s. Got it so I don't have to take the pack off to access them at all, a small mil-spec pack has been fitted to the left shoulder strap for my cell phone in one part, and the 650's in another. I also have a nylon holster with a velco flap on the top which one of the 1300's fit's into nicely which is attached to the chest strap. That velcro flap helps keep the unit from falling out of the holster as well. With the 1300 I don't even have to stop and get it out, I just lean down and there it is. Here is a pic with the Echo's in place sporting the drip tips.

I enjoyed the review GitMoe and nice set up with the 901 and drip shield. I have three kits from three different vendors and they all have a cutoff if I try really hard by taking more than one drag and keeping the led on. I've never had one cutoff by taking one long hit without trying to make it cutoff so it isn't a problem at all for me. There isn't a delay in refiring like the old autos but there have been a couple of guys that it cutsoff on because they take really long drags. I swore mine didn't have a cutoff but after some said it did I got out a timer to check and sure enough mine cutoff at about six seconds. I did find out a six second drag is a long drag.

I'm not sure if the iGo and ECHO cartos are the same, but I just stopped using one of my original cartos after 35 days because the draw got really tight and it was starting to taste funky. I'm going to pull out the stuffing, put it in the vodka ultrasonic bath, dry burn and see if it comes back to life or not.

I'm sure it's probably realized by most folks so forgive me for the obvious. There may be a couple of people that want to try the Mohawkz Method of carto cleaning/rebuilding on their Echo cartos. I know OMG doesn't have a problem since she has the Igo which has a manual power button.

For the "pulse" method of dry burning the coil on the Echo cartos though, unless you have lungs the size of an ox, the auto battery will be a lot more difficult to dry burn. Simplest method for dry burning them is likely in your arsenal already. Most start with an 808 or 510 e-cig that is of a small form factor similar to a cigarette. Even if you no longer use them for vaping, they still come in handy.

If you have a kr808d1 (such as V4l, Vapor King, etc.) manual battery and want to do a cleaning including a dry burn, just use one of those since the threads are the same as your Echo auto batteries. If you don't have a manual laying around, they can be picked up cheaply in the classifieds or at many online vendors.

Or if you have a 510 or really any other battery that is manual, you can go to most sites like Mad Vapes, Avid Vaper and many others and get an adapter for 510 (or whatever you have) to 808 for a couple of bucks. Again, forgive if this is obvious but for any newer folks just getting into the Echo scene, this is an easy and less stressful way to do your dry burn on your Echo carto coils! :)

Hi Guys, i just got my Echo kit and loving it.
I would like to get some atty/driptip for the Echo, may I know if the ones in the link is OK for my Echo?

atty - DSE901 Low Resistance Atomizer in 9 colors [DSE901] - $3.20 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--
driptip - 510/901 Black Delrin Drip Tip [Drip Tip] - $1.20 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--

the reason i am using links from HC is because the delivery is cheap from where I am.

You need the drip tip for a DSE 801 cart. If HC doesn't have them you can get them from Eastmall.

This is the one http://www.healthcabin.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1067&products_id=7669

I'm through testing for a while. I'll leave that up to others. I'm very happy with my echo auto with the 3.5 carto. I have a drawer full of cartos, most are brand new because I always buy a pack of five and end up only using one. I'm on day six on this carto and it is still working great.:2cool::vapor:
