This will sound odd but for anyone that is willing I need a measurement please on a regular 808 Echo carto. It doesn't need to be caliper perfect, close is good enough.

Can someone with a narrow ruler tell me how many millimeters it is (approximately) from the bottom of the contact post of the Echo carto to the outer skirt. In other words stick a ruler against the carto contact post and see how many mm approximately it is straight down to the lowest point of the out skirt/cone ring.

If anyone gets a chance to do this I would be most appreciative. :)

EDIT: Disregard please, BILLB got the info for me. Thanks Bill!

Thanks for the pics. Is the filler and centre tube burnt or is it just discoloured? It looks like quite a dark juice you're using. Did you manage to fix her up?

I haven't had a chance to clean the cotton and the tube yet, so I can't say for sure if it's burnt or not. I vape JC's Tennessee Cured. It does run pretty dark...

Try pushing the stuffing down a bit closer to the coil. You can always lift it back up if that doesn't work. That might help.

I did. Didn't change my juice back to the flavor it should be. I'm just giving up for the night on it...I'll try it again tomorrow and see if it's different. :) Thank you for trying to help me. :)

Hmmm, weird thing...the flavor of my all day isn't *quite* right in this carto. Anyone else have this issue? I tried it with and without the whistle tip thinking it could be the issue. Same slightly off taste both ways. Is it just me?

I noticed the same thing for the 1st few days then it came right. This was alternating with 4 cartos for different flavors so it should improve sooner if you're just using one carto. I think these cartos need to sit a good while before being used but who has the patience for that especially when you 1st get it. I just added a little more flavor to my DIY juice. Are there other options out there that give better flavor - yes. But so far, as an all rounder, no-hassle setup I'm really enjoying my echo. Perhaps starting with pre-filled cartos might help and then changing flavors but I haven't tried it and it does have it's limitations.

Yeah, I tried it again this morning. I can't deal with the whatever the taste is. I'll take the filler out today and wash it out and try again. If that doesn't do it, I don't think I can use these cartos...but...I love the batteries and ordered adapters to use my other cartos on them and I certainly hope it works so I can keep enjoying the batteries. :)

Bianca, what is that white stuff?

That's a very good question Bacon. Glue maybe? The filler doesn't have an odor but the inside of that empty carto smells just like the taste I'm getting from these cartos...if that makes sense. I'm not claiming that the "white stuff" is toxic or anthing...I have no clue, I'm just saying that's what I believe is causing the off taste that I'm experiencing.

Bianca, These cartos have issues, IMO.
I cant use them..
When they work, they work great for awhile, but can't fiddle with these things constantly to make them work..

I am using LR Ikenvape Cartos (808s) on these Echo batts and they work pretty good.

I hope the company will tweak these cartos to make them usable consistently. Like I said when they did work they were nice but all 5 of mine would not vape consistent.

I've never had any bad taste on any of mine yet although they don't last as long as the Go-carts. My last one lasted seven days vaping it exclusively. The shortest time I had on a Go-Go was 10 days before needing cleaning. I'm probably not as particular as some are as far as taste is concerned but I haven't had any bad tasting carts, they just begin to start getting a stiffer draw and vapor decreases after several days. The 100 refill claim is out the window though but I doubted that claim from the beginning. I love mine though and it is the best overall PV I've tried in 18 months.:vapor:

I thought someone posted that they put over 200 mls thru one cartomizer. I may be mistaking though, I am old.

Taste is subjective as we all know. Personally speaking, these cartos aren't going to work. I do have hope that the adapter will work well so I can continue using the batteries with my Boges and duals. Has anyone tried using an adapter and 510 gear on these automatic batteries? I'd love to hear how that went. :)

The white stuff is the glue that attaches the tube to the base.

All I have seen is the manufacture stating 100 refills. Johnnybass was getting alot of juice through his but I don't remember how much. I was hoping for 50 ml before cleaning but I got about 30 on the one I tested and the draw begin to stiffen up before that.
