Tex, that is precisely what grandsons are for. Take him back to the football field and offer him $5 to find your lost Echo. His young eyes will find it for sure. It's a win-win for both of you. Speaking from experience, bring as many youngsters as possible. They will find it. Kinda like an Easter Egg hunt.

JJ :)

Yep, I know that trick but it was at a busy park and I didn't realize I lost it until I got home.

The tip I'm liking best right now is the hard plastic 801 whistle tip off a 801 atty. It works best for holding the Echo with my teeth. It does get a little condensation build up whereas the drip tips do not but I don't like biting down on the aluminum whistle tip or the rubber either. I think someone said the 801 cartridges from Nhaler had hard plastic tips. Mine came with 801 attys I bought somewhere.

So I've been vaping Ikenvape RY4 all day and just noticed in my last two tokes that the flavor had become kind of muted. I switched to another flavor and it felt full strength. Anybody else ever experience a kind of burn out after one kind of vape all day? It's like my newly reforming taste buds just got worn out on the same flavor.

On the topic of drip tips and whistle tips, be aware that we are talking about very tight tolerances. I noticed that chrome Echo-E cartos were tighter than black Echo-E cartos.

If this batch of tips is slightly bigger, or that batch of cartos is slightly smaller, then the fit will be different. YMMV.

If you want to talk about juices, there's a whole section for it. This thread is specifically about RY4. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquids/193327-really-big-ry4-roundup-long.html

Thanks appreciate the heads up. I was just wondering if maybe any other Echo users had experienced it because of the higher amour of vapor the Echo produces or if maybe it was just me.

Your question about "flavor loss" is quite valid and I've experienced it myself. During 30 years of smoking Salems, I did not like the taste of any other brand. Vaping however seems to be more like eating. The best tasting food in the world can get boring after a while. That is why many vapers, unlike smokers, choose to mix it up.

Give it some time. You'll figure out what flavors work best in your menu.

I think it is going to be an interesting and enjoyable journey. There are so many variables to adjust the options seem endless, but no matter the end result it will always be better than smoking analogs.

I can't seem to locate good plastic whistle tips that would fit the (black) echo. Any advice on that one?

Like I said in the post I think the 801 cartridge that Nhaler sells has them but I would check with them first to make sure. Mine came with new 801 attys I bought somewhere. I've had them a long time. If you can't find one PM me your address and I will send you one. Here are the ones I think are hard plastic instead of the rubber tips. 801 Cartridges I'm not positive but I remember someone got some for their Go-go and wanted rubber but got hard plastic. instead.

Sorry, let me be more precise in my request.

I can't seem to locate good plastic whistle tips that would fit the (black) echo without having to purchase cartomizers also. Any advice on that one?

Those aren't cartomizers they are cartridges used with atomizers. You get five for four dollars and just take the tip off the cartridge. No one sells just tips other than drip tips and if you want a plastic whistle drip tip I have never seen one of those either for a 801 and that is what fits the Echo.

Cropduster sells a hard plastic drip-tip for the Echo that works perfectly. His price is also very reasonable - $1.99.

FYI, NHaler and Ikenvape sell whistle tips individually, however they are aluminum. ButNhaler's whistle tips appear from the pictures to not really be so much a whistle tip but just a smaller rounded tip anyhow.

They are exactly like the tip that comes with the echo only hard plastic. The round part is the cartridge you just throw that away. Like I said I'm not positive they are the plastic ones but believe they are.

Ok, this is how much I like my echo....for the first time in my life (for as long as I can remember) I am day 3 of no analogs. Yep, I have a ways to go....but to start it over the weekend was a feat in and of itself because I was in social situations where I would ALWAYS smoke.

I pretty much chain vaped because I needed to do something. The Echo is certainly a work horse. Last year I started with just KR808s from V4L (which are perfectly fine) but they just didn't do it for me. The Echo....well, it may just be my saving grace.

Today, I feel like I have a cold (though I could have really bad allergies too) and I have not had a good nights sleep in 3 nights.... That being said - for the last 3 mornings I haven't had left over 'ashtray' breath from the night before which is FANTASTIC!

Thank you Echo! Thank you Bill from D&B Gold for getting my Echo to me so quickly and for the best price around as well! And thanks for everyone who has been posting and asking questions on this thread. You guys gave me enough knowledge and insight to convince me to make the initial purchase of the Echo!
