I am sure this has been answered a few times, but....Will the echo-E DC Cartos work on eGo batteries? I know the std ones will, but I am unsure on the DC.

Yes they work on standard Ego batteries but I think they are a little better on the Kgo or Echo-e batteries that come off the charger at 4.2 and decrease down to about 3.4 v before needing recharged. The Echo-e and Kgo do not hold a charge at 4.2 volts until cut off as was mentioned earlier by another poster. I don't have a echo-e battery to measure but I do have a Kgo and that is how the one I have works. :2cool:

Thanks. Just received my standard Auto echo kit today. Can't wait to "test" it.
I want to order another kit soon. Maybe I will go with the echo e. I had one awhile back.

I really like my auto and most people that try them do. It is just nice and more relaxing for me not to have to push a button 1,000 times a day and I like to vape hands free on occasion. The only negative I've found is the charge time but as long as you don't let both go dead at the same time it isn't a problem. You do have to be a little more careful not to get juice down in the battery but as long as you don't refill or top off with the carto attached to the battery it isn't a problem. The Echo cartos don't leak at all if you let them set a few minutes after refilling.:2cool:

i thought the echo was 4.2 at charge and 3.7 after used a lil, and the kgo was a constant 4.2. Thats what this guy said that owned the store I was ordering my echo off of. Eh doesnt really matter, I liked the manual most when using those batteries anyways. 20 bucks with shipping for the 1300mah batt was nice deal too.

I do have a echo-e, but i did not sleep in a holiday inn last night so i will have to drag it out and preform the voltage test AGAIN :2cool:

edited to add: now where did i put those useless dceho-e coils?

If you are trying to stir up things again you are succeeding. The Echo-e does not hold a charge at 4.2 v until it cuts off. It comes off the charger at 4.2v and decreases to around 3.3 volts and cuts off! If you as a supplier are going to come on this thread and post at least give out true info.

EGo batteries I understand put out a chopped waveform (PWM). It's a way to regulate the average voltage. So it's not as simple as a straight battery connection.

The std one coil Echo-es that I have measured are around 2.5 ohms, which is fine on the eGo batteries. The dual coil ones I have measured are around 2.2 to 2.3 ohms, which is OK too. At 2 ohms we're getting into over-stressing the electronics. But at 2.2 they are OK, and work fine. I use 2 ohm Boges with the expectation that eGo batteries will fail sooner (and they have - cost of vaping).

For some reason the dual coil seems more prone to reduced draw. With the single coils (and the EMDCC) you can blow 'em out if overfilled, but not so easily the dual coil. I'd guess the two coils get encrusted with residue and block the airflow. I have single coils that have been great for weeks.

Got my echo kit today. Came with 3 standard cartos and 2 DC. I am having some issues with the standard cartos. First I filled one, let it sit for a few hours, horrible burning taste. Pushed the filler down. Nothing. Still the horrible burning taste. I took it apart, cleaned it,etc and put it away. I tried another one that sat overnight, same thing! One DC works OK.
I have 5 more DC from a different vendor on the way now. Hopefully these are better. I can't keep wasteing juice with bad cartos.

Carto number 2 just completly quit working. I tested it on my echo battery and a 3.7 box mod with an adaptor.

Hi All,

Since early May I have been using standard Echo 1300mAh units and have had only one battery crap out. I have never had a "burning taste" from any of my single-coil or dual-coil echomizers. I've always used a syringe to fill my echomizers and a tissue to wipe and blot any excess ejuice from the echomizer before re-attaching it to the battery.

From what I understand Hangsen has excellent quality control so I can't figure out what is going on with the battery and cartomizer complaints I am seeing in this thread. Am I just lucky?

Also, getting bored with so many off-topic comments made in the Echo thread.

Hi everyone, just curious if anyone has found a good method to extract and save your juice when you get a bad carto. Please share your methods! Lot's of folks are wasting juice that could be saved.
-Rob

I've only tried to recover the juice from one and I was able to get about half back using a syringe. I've heard that using the spin method works but I don't know exactly what they catch the juice in.:2cool:
