What are you paying for shipping? I ask because Electronic Cigarette Cartomizers
has Boge LR510 Cartomizers (Pack of 5) for USD $4.99 and a eGo Atomizer Cover for USD $2.99. If you choose the "China Air Mail" method of shipping it should be under $5. These two items ship for $3.4 to the US and I usually get my order in less than two weeks.

Now we're talking pretty colors. Hate to order from over seas, but these are pretty! Echo cartomizers in colors for 510 at Healthcabin.net. Can't seem to download the photo correctly. Sorry! Echo%20for%20510%20with%20LOGO.jpg

hey guys. I hate to barge in like this. I could not bring myself to read all of the pages in this thread- sorry

maybe this has already been addressed. I recently got an echo batt from health cabin

4.2v ECHO Manual Battery for 510/eGo [ECHO] - $11.99 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--

it says it can be charged with Charger: Joye eGo powered USB charger

I used the batt for a good day, then it needed to be recharged. I put it on my ego charger and things started blinking, and the next thing I knew, the wall adapter on my ego charger was not working anymore. I used the same charger I have used to charge my ego batts

I am too afraid to charge using my other charger because then I would not have any way to charge.

Is there something I did wrong here?

People have tried thisa nd it hasn't worked for them, I would suggest only using the echo charger. I believe that it charges at a different rate. Some of the others here know the exact technical specs

Echo batteries for some reason require a very slow "trickle" charge. What you have done, if i understand you right, is technically known as "blowed it up real good". I'm surprised it's the charger that went and not the battery, it's typically the other way. Generally it's wise to do at least some quick research on these forums before trying to frankenstein parts from different devices, even it's a charging unit. I've done blowed up real good a thing or two myself.

I checked the site and it definitely says it can be charged with the "Joye eGo powered USB charger" and I don't think you can be faulted for following directions. Get in tough with the vendor and see if they can/will help you now that you know the Echo bat needs a special charger.

Perhaps someone here or Bill on the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...94316-d-b-gold-has-echo-e-cartomizers-59.html can provide a quote that gives the information about charging an Echo bat that you can provide the vendor you bought your battery from.

If what Errol says is true then, as unlikely as it may seem you just got a crap charger

Perhaps I'm showing my ignorance or I'm missing something. Is the "Joye eGo powered USB charger" the same one that comes with an Echo kit? I was under the impression the Echo bat required it's own brand charger. If that's not the case then I'm confused as to what he Frankensteined from different devices,

I think I've realized the confusion on my part. When I said I had checked the site I meant the site that sold him the battery, not the Echo site.

One would think that if Echo puts out a battery that will screw into any eGo style charger they would build the "charge limiter circuitry" into the battery or at least make it so nothing happens if screwed into a non compatible charger. It sure as heck shouldn't blow out a charger or battery.

Echo batts are 901 threads, echo-e are 510. Ego chargers are 510. So unless the battery that was charged was an e, an adapter would have been necessary. If it screwed onto the charger properly then it was an echo e.

Good point and I should have payed closer attention before butting into the thread.

He bought the "4.2v ECHO Manual Battery for 510/eGo" so it appears it should work on his charger. Hard to guess what may have happened.
