Docliv- I havent heard of the new charging addaptor. Where did you get this? I have always understood that one needs to use the addaptor that comes with them which is verry slow but keeps the batts working a realy long time. Thanks for any info, sounds nice to have.

All new 300mA USB adapters along with sealed batteries from Hangsen are now standard equipment with the Echo.

Update to my cleaning w the smoktek kit and drying withy cpap:

Carts were fully dry this am, the fiber fluffy and ready for action. Used over 3ml of watermelon wave in the first one, palm rolled, thermometer pumped, let drip on washcloth... And voila! Vapes like a dream! Remember, this is one that was all burnt and yuck tasting after a day of vaping, in which I had tried tamping to no avail.
Second one sits awaiting its fate of which juice to choose.

I just looked at mine and it reads:
USB CHARGER
USB input 5V DC 500 mA
Output 5V DC 150 mA

And I got this on Christmas eve.

That's been one of the only gripe about the echo is the long charge time. 150mA is a very slow charge. A few people contacted Hangsen and were told not to charge these with a faster charger. Basically, the quicker you charge a rechargable battery the more wear and tear you put on it and the life of your battery is shortened. I applaud them for being so proud of their product that they want to make us as happy with it as possible.

It's surprising that Mountain Vapor is now carrying a 300mah charger and as far as I know, they are the only ones but they are a trusted supplier so for anybody needing to recharge their batteries a little faster, this is a very good thing.

I think my test on the cartomizer is coming to an end. Not because it draws hard or tastes burnt in any way, but because filling it is really becoming a PITA! Once it's filled, it's great but the filler is just accepting the juice really, really, really slowly. Once I vape it down today, I'm going to set it aside for cleaning.

Exactly 14 days on the same cartomizer with no cleaning, ain't bad though!

Unfortunately my efforts were a total failure. On the Echo-E the slotted ring on the battery end is glued in and easily removed. Had hoped the slotted vent ring on the regular Echo was separate, not so. When I tapped the working parts further into the shell I found the vent ring was part of it and a little larger than the tube. The consequence was that it wedged in the shell with no reasonable way of getting it out.

My next effort will be to cut the shell 3/16" in from the threaded end to get things out, cleaned and re-inserted into a somewhat shorter Echo shell.

Happy to say cutting the shell was a complete success and having the working parts out in the open makes removing the packing, cleaning, dry burning and reassembly a breeze. Ended up cutting the tube with a tubing cutter about 1/4" in from the threaded end. I don't recommend this method to anyone without a decent workshop.

Now the Echo-E is a different story, the vent ring pries off easy and working parts can be worked loose with an old 510 battery and some wedging back and forth while pulling apart. Putting it back together is considerably easier. If anyone wants to try this I suggest you practice on a retired Echo-E to see how much of the back and forth wedging the electronics and packing can take.

Whether or not the end result justifies the effort is a personal choice, in my case the gain was minimal, not much better than flushing the unit with a syringe and hot water.

Hi guys, quick.. Hopefully easy question. Before I found the echo on Christmas eve, I was vaping 808's with ce2's and ce3's that I had a little 510 adapter for. And this was doing ok!
Now, I love my echo carts but sometimes I plug in a ce2 for fun with a diff flave. Changes things up a bit.
I tried my ce3 w an adapter, but nothing happened. The ce3 is 2.8 to 3.1 ohms.
Now, would my ce3's work with the echo e or the echo v? Or this new stealth one people have mentioned. I don't mind manuals, altho it would be weird after the echo, but I thought I had invested so much into my ce3's and I really love them.
I would like to use them without adapters but I've got a ton of them, too.
Plus I'm missing my cherry vape drip tips, and my stainless Ming too!

Now, I still love the echo carts, a lot!!! But am nostalgic to change up flavors w more frequency, plus I got all this good equipment sitting right here!!!!

Thanks guys!!! All this and I'm about to get another echo kit, maybe tomorrow, from mtn vapor. But there's a touch of urgency as rob had the echos on sale right now, and if it's the echo e, well...,,,..!

Is your battery the new sealed kind? I thought it was my sealed battery that didn't like adapters. maybe it's an echo thing? If it's sealed, try asking Rob if he has any unsealed.

I know the ce2s & 3s come with 808 threads too.

Your current stock should work with the echo-e which is a manual 510 version.

How can I tell if it is sealed? He was suspicious that I had leaked juice into it to stop it from working, so perhaps it's not sealed? But it doesn't have a hole in it, just a post.

Ya, my ce2's are 808's and I can use them with the echo fine.

My ce3's are 510... Couldn't find the 808 version without buying 100 from china! So I used them w adapters.

My question is, what can I use my ce3's with? Echo e? And why won't the darn things work w the adapter on the echo?

If it looks like my picture on page 173 of this thread, it's sealed. Which is misleading because they are actually drip resistant. The holes are moved under the post so they can be ruined, just not as easy. I understand why my 901 atomizer won't work (I think) but not another adapter, which uses the same airflow through the threads like an 808. I think gotvapes has 808's in ce2 and 3 but I am trying to respond quickly so can't verify. If your ce2s and 3s are 510 thread, they will work with echo-e, which is also 510 threaded

Got vapes has the vortex which is very much like the ce3.

I just want to maximize what I have already, and if the echo e has the 510 threads then I'll pick up a couple.

Looks like my batt is sealed, so I guess the juice can flow into that moat and then thru the holes, eh? Yikes, scary, and good to know.

Thank you so much!!!

Got my 650 today from Tony. Everything is perfect and the battery is not sealed. thank god. Actually it still has a post but the pinhole is tiny. Works great with my 901 atty!:vapor: I'm currently searching for my 510 adapter but I'm confident it will work as well. For those of us that want cross compatability, get your hand on some unsealed autos before vendors run out. For any suppliers that may be in touch with Hangsen (or Kanger for that matter) please let them know we would like the option to have it sealed or not.
I currently have one brand new DCC and one single filled and ready and blindly mixed up. Since I was too excited to really notice when I got my first kit, I am going to do a blind vape test to see which one performs better for me......

just found my 510 adapter....works like a champ!

Hi guys, gosh I feel bad like I'm the only one still left at the party... But I just got my echo kit from mtn vapor in 2 days! 2 days! Got 4 juices and a 5 pack of echo dc so I've 14 to play with. I feel a sense of relief now, with so many. Just filled a dual with my cinnamon roll and it kicks ....! Flavor is immensely better, a little wee bit warmer vape, which I adore. Geesh this echo keeps getting better!!! I feel like I should be the poster girl for the product.
And my carts I washed with that awesome syringe kit are still going strong. Just filled them for the second time with 2+ ml of juice, so I can run them pretty low without issue.
Rob is sending me out a new batt after he made me promise I hasn't refilled on the batt, lol, and I assures him I has not, but I'd he finds fluid in there I'll buy the darn thing. Then I'll have 6 batts btw me and my husband, so if electricity goes out we can survive for a day or two!

I received the aluminum 801 drip tips today. They fit sc echomizers from Smok Tek just fine. The dc from Smok Tek and Mountain Vapes they will fit with a little persuasion. Vapor Kings still has them for sale for .95 each. I got some really wild colors and like them very much. Just an FYI
