My ego from e-cigz australia arrived this afternoon and it's on charge now. It doesn't have the button that lights up....it has a blue led on the tip, nice. Can anyone tell me what happens when it is fully charged? There is no indicator light on the charger. Does the blue led change colour? It has a usb cord with adapter. It's been 2 hours charging now and the blue light is still on, i'm hoping something obvious changes with the led to let me know when it's full.

thanks

my battery never showed red on the end but flashed blue so i put it on charge. Now i am using it (after 3 hours of charging) i notice that the blue battery light on the tip flashes after 4 seconds of holding down the button and it cuts off until you press it again....is that normal? is it a kind of automatic cut off so you don't hold it down for too long? if this is the case, everything seems ok, i thought it was a flat battery. maybe it will go red when it is flat.

thanks

In regards to the battery on my ego. When it goes flat the blue light flashes then goes out, it does not change to red. When i put it on charge the blue light comes on straight away. There is no way of knowing when it is fully charged. I just wait a couple of hours then use it. I think this is supposed to be a "new model" from e-cigz australia. If this is the case, it should have had an indicator to show when the battery is full. Does anyone else have the same model as i describe.

thanks

I've heard estimates between 8 and 12 hrs. I have had mine for 7 hrs now and am still vaping strong!!! :)

Cool! Thanks, Heather.

I started with a dodgy e-cig from a pharmacy, then after 3 days, I got a 510. But after a week of charging batteries and not getting a decent vape, I've ordered the eGo. Seems like the battery life won't be a problem. Hooray!

I also have a consignment of e-juice coming from an italian supplier (Flavour Art) who's reputed to be excellent. (In fact, I mailed them sunday evening to ask if I could add something to my order and they replied an hour later - and august is vacation month in italy, so I'm already impressed!). Hopefully between the eGo and a decent liquid, I can vape to my heart's content, and dump analogs altogether. LOL.

I got my ego a week ago. I love it. I charge one bat at night. Have been vaping a little more than I smoked and, the bat last all day. This weekend I kept using the bat from the day before. It lasted about three more hrs. Mine does not have a light on the end? Just on the button when I push it. Wonder if I could get new bats with a lit end somewhere?

Yeah, I am really impressed with my eGo. I was vaping a 510 and still smoking for over a month. I liked the 510 but was feeling very discouraged by its inability to satisfy my nic cravings. I got the eGo on Sunday and stopped smoking analogs less than 2 hours later. Throat hit and vapor production are great!

Oh and yes, flavors that tasted like .... on the 510 taste way better on the eGo.

Sorry for hijacking the thread.... Just sharing my excitement :)

I use the original Smoore xpower900 batteries from onlyecig.com
The USB Charger has an indicator light that illuminates red when the battery is charging and changes to green when the battery is fully charged.
The manuals from Smoore have not been receiving any negative reviews so far. It certainly seems so to me.
