My first post and it's a question, not what I intended but I'm a bit worried. This is the only thread that came up in my search so appologies if it's been covered.

My eGo arrived this morning and I started charging one battery and started vaping with the other. My instructions say that when the battery is screwed into the USB charger the battery will flash a few times then turn solid in color and the charger will turn from green to red.

When I screw mine in the blue LED on the battery button flashes then goes out, it doesn't stay solid. The charger light changes from green to red and gives a flicker from red to green and back every 5 seconds. I presume this is an indication it's charging. The light still hadn't turned green 6 hours later so I stopped charging.

I've started charging the other battery and there's still no solid blue light on the battery button like the instructions specify. Could someone confirm that the blue LED on the battery button should be on or off when charging? I'm wondering if I have a faulty USB charger as 6 hours of charging should surely have turned the charger light from red to green.

Everything you describe is normal, except the charger light should go from red to green, of course, after a few hours.

I had a similar problem and thought it was the battery, then when it did the same thing on another battery, I thought it was the charger. So I got another charger. Now the old charger and battery seem to be OK.

The only thing I can figure is a bad connection. So try wiggling the battery around in the charger and plugging/unplugging it a few times.
Unfortunately you may have to wait a few hours. Would be quicker if you put an "almost charged" battery on the charger.
