I got an Otter Box in my pocket.....and a ROCKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just throwing that stuff out about those new mods so you girls could see them...Myself I got a Notcigs shipping notice and will be swimming in BPs any day now.....

You know things are tight when you're trying too survive all by your lonesome...well tis not exactly lonesome the dog is rather good company...but still..........I got a big old propane tank that I gotta pay rent on....With propane as high as a giraffe's buttocks you might expect the tank rental too be comped...I mean the last one with the other company was...NO SIR!!!! So I've been attempting too burn it on out...As it nears empty the smelly stuff starts getting strong...During the night it got really low and stunk up the house...My dang head felt as if someone had split it with an axe...So I wait for near almost dark thirty..I roll up with a tank I own...Set and level 4 cinder blocks...Roll the tank up on the blocks...Disconnect the rental tank....Connect the owned tank....Fix one leak....WhaaaBammmm HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scored two sweet leather seats and a concole from a Durango today..Sixty buckaroos and I'm smiling 'bout that...A little cutting and welding and you'll think all that stuff was factory...Well until you notice those Ram heads embroidered in the top of the seats.....High dang class I'm telling you...........

Ram Power Dee. Chrysler does make good stuff. dual 4s, Nodular steel cranks, full floating wrist pins, windage trays, 202 valves etc. has been stock stuff in Mopar clear back in the 60s. All them Chevy guys had to pay extra for that stuff.

Five my mechanical mentor growing up believed Mopar or no car...He passed away many years ago and now his sons port race car heads in his shop. One day when I was @17 his wife brought some of his old clothes out too the shop for him too use as rags...I snagged a WWII shirt...I believe 2nd Armored Division...aka Hell on Wheels!!!!!!!!!!! I got that sucker hanging in my closet tonight. I also cut a Dodge Trucks patch from a shirt he'd worn during his dealership days...I keep it in my tool box for good luck when repairing stuff...One of the Chevy boys had brought in a block for us too bore and stated it was the superior high nickle content small block...I asked later why Chrysler didn't offer a high nickel option..The answer was all Chrysler made was high nickle...years later while reading I confirmed this....A few weeks back I was thinking of the night we stayed late into the evening putting a 440 into my 70 Challenger...It had a pretty nasty cam and a few people had gathered too hear it for the first time...I sat behind the wheel as Vernon stood over the engine...When he was satisfied the timing was good he slid into the passenger seat smiling like a mule eating saw briers...We sat there for 20 minutes as the cam wore a pattern with the lifters...Though I didn't know it then life was very good at this moment...That Challenger hurt a lot of feelings..What I wouldn't give for Vernon too see what I've made from spending all that time down in his shop...When he spoke I listened...One morning he went out on the deck before breakfast too watch the ocean...I was welding later that day when they came with the news...

Ya them Chryslers were the deal. I had a 47 Plymouth that sit about 2in. off the ground, shaved the handles, 70 camero headlights frenched with a balanced and blueprinted 340 in it. Dual quads and a torqueflite. It had the sodium valves. Anyway this thing was too fast. I took the neighbor kid for a ride and he kept saying "get on it" So I did. We went through the light in second at 110 and I couldn't stop it because I still had the old suspension and brakes in it. So I cut the key coasted about a mile and a half to the house, pulled the Ansen sprints and TA's off along with the dual 4s and sold it. I put a lot of work in it but at that time I couldn't afford to finish it because of the family and I knew someone was going to get hurt if it didn't have proper brakes etc. That's the only car I regret parting with.
Your friend sounds like he was a smart guy. Them old timers could set up a motor by feel and sight. They didn't need all the hi tech gear to make em purr.

Yes Wharf very lucky indeed. Vernon had three sons..The oldest runs a one man body shop. Vernon was very proud of that fact. I set that as my goal and achieved it. Sometimes it actually even pays pretty good!!!!! The middle son works at the salvage yard. He played a Hammond Organ for many years in several bands. I hustled equipment down many a long road..Lights....Sound...Free drinks!!!!!!!!! The Hammond found a permanent resting spot...Myself I got Marshall and some expensive guitars....I keep threatening too actually pick one up...The youngest son was one year older than me...We were always tight..Last year at 53 he eventually tied the knot for the first time. We all had a great time that day. Vernon was watching over us from above.

Five that car sounds pretty sweet...I also ran a 340 for a few years. It had come stock in my 71 Demon..When time and funds allow I hope too restore another Demon...Hey!! It's the Evel car!!

Well now...Just sitting here minding my own business and the phone rings...Unidentified caller...I answer and it's Direct TV. So far I've hung up on them twice without speaking...That free wake up call is gonna get someone cursed out...Had circumstances not been on my side I'd be short a fraudulent $200 charge...It's been credited and has shown up online...Tonight for the third time I decline auto pay enrollment. I'm offered a $10 per month credit for 12 months since I declined auto pay...It will take 6/8 weeks for it too be applied...Could it be 6/8 weeks too be denied????? What other reason could it be. Really!!!!!! I'd been planning on calling soon...and call I will........

The last two mornings they've called at 8 sharp...When I've been asleep for @4 hours this ain't good...When the lady said 6/8 weeks for the discount too post I gave her grief...Lord knows where she was from but son it weren't 'Merica...I had too squint and make funny faces too decipher all she was telling me...Low and behold I got an e-mail saying everything was posted and accounted for and my bill had been adjusted for a second time...All this trouble only too get right back too where we started from...That is just special...There is no loyalty left...

Five that's what I'm sayin"....My dang policy for insurance is as thick as a book....Likely a bunch of escape from payment clauses....I used too threaten too heat with the credit card applications...For some reason they don't seem too be as prolific these days...hey.....SAVE A DANG TREE WON'TCHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What really makes me mad is when they keep calling for someone I've never heard of. The other day was the last straw. I said "look I don't know any body by that name, My family has lived in this house for 50 yrs. There has never been any one by that name here and no one in my family or friends have ever heard of anyone with that name. Now I've told you this how many times?" She said "While I have you on the line I will remove your #". Good thing because I can get rude.
