The facts about electronic cigarettes continue to be grossly distorted and misrepresented by health experts in order to scare people about the potential risks of vaping, a dishonest communication that is likely to cause harm by convincing many vapers to return to cigarette smoking or dissuading smokers who could likely quit by using electronic cigarettes and causing them to continue smoking instead.

All Should read the Full interesting Story below as well

The facts about ecigs are somewhat important, but ONLY in relation to the other option we currently "enjoy". The other option is known to have 400 cancer causing chemicals. It has known tar. The hit is via carbon monoxide.

It would be "possible" to find something more dangerous to your health than analogs - but would be rather challenging. Overheated teflon pans, as I have mentioned, would clearly be one example.

Sucking on the cars tailpipe comes to mind. If you choose to try this, use a drip tip so you don't burn your lips...lol

My doctor is not only happy that I quit smoking with one, he asked me where to research and what to recommend to others. He took notes and plans to turn on some of his patients who have asked him about chantix. I am talking a 45 minute session where I answered questions and he wrote down websites like this one and some suppliers I have had good luck with. He thinks they are awesome. I vaped right in front of him at his request to see what it was all about.. He understands the mental aspect of a device that puts out vapors like a cig and cures the cravings. That was always the hard part with the patch and other things he has people try, they don't feel like they cured the craving.. With exhaling vapors you do..

It kind of reminds me of the Glock Pistol. When it first hit the market almost every news agency hit the streets with how it was undetectable by a metal detector and an untested weapon (In the U.S) This was absolutely false but it still went out almost daily as fact. Now it's been adopted by many police departments and has proven it's reliability in the field and you don't hear that negative misinformation. Oh by the way it's sale is taxed by the feds and state so it must be ok now ;)

How many announcements do we see on a regular basis for medications the FDA approved but are now being taken off the market due to serious health risks, including death?

The FDA isn't interested in taking care of our health issues. They're interested in taking care of the lining of their own pockets.

If the makers and suppliers of e-cigs could afford to line the FDA's pockets with more money than the tobacco companies do, they'd very quickly deem e-cigs as safe to use. The makers and suppliers don't have that kind of money. The FDA stands to lose a lot of money if even half the smokers out there switch to e-cigs. The FDA knows the potential of how big of a threat e-cigs are to their financial well being so they're going to do what they can to put a stop to it.

If you think the FDA and organizations such as The American Cancer Society care about our health, you're wrong! They care about the big bucks! Many of the cancers that ACS has said there is no cure for (at this time) are being cured with great success in other countries, but they don't want you to know about that. They want Americans to remain clueless so they can continue to make more money.

80% of a pack of analogs in NY is tax. Therefore, they are good, ecigs are not. We really do not need to make this any more complicated than that.

What does the future hold for Taxation on E-Juice. I think its going to be DIY and vaping is going to become illegal. After E-Juice takes off and becomes classified as a tobacco product the GOV is going to try to tax it to death. I for one will have to start DIY and that is something I should already be doing to save even more money.

Well, i think we let them tax us, how much can they tax? 1000%???

Eg. if 10ml of E-liquid cost 1 USD, let them Tax 1000%. it will be only $10 USD.

I think i don't mind paying for that so long we can vape healthier and save the earth if we got time.

I don't think they ever try to think to tax us on our Equipment. other wise i will buy and standby for my life time replacement on my Equipment.

Just to make it a teeny bit more complicated -- 80% of the post-deregulation INCREASE in healthcare costs is due to Big Pharma paying 100s of millions a pop to test stuff and then phony up the results and pay doctors to write scrips. Nictrol gives tons of money to scientists but Ecighut does not, so therefore e-cigs are bad, nicotine shpritz is good, and tobacco is just a legal product.

The 80% figure and the Ecighut brand were made up but both are within .5 sigma of actual values I am certain.
