That has been my experience with all Chinese wholesalers...less than $20 costs $1.50 for tracking, anything over $20 immediately gets tracking and the free protective package (yay bubblewrap..haha)Bosco, I realize that you have no experience with fast tech, so you have to take our word for it that they will make it right once 8 weeks have elapsed. As I have said, international postal regulations require 8 weeks to have gone by before a loss report can be filed. That is the way postal services all over the world operate.
It is also quite true that if an order is less than $20, you do not automatically receive tracking. On orders of less than $20, you are given the option when you check out to upgrade to tracking for a few cents (usually less than $1). It is not a good idea to skip the tracking, seriously. You think you are saving money, but in fact you are creating a situation where you do not at any point know where your package is, which leads to the very fuss you are in right now.
Remember too that once a package has gone off on its travels, FT is not responsible for it. They will make it right, but they are not responsible. There is a pretty big difference there.

DancingHeretik, I know you just ordered some, but has anyone actually tried the premade nr-r-nr wires and premade coils yet (the ones with the wicks)? Wondering how good the welds are, and how close to accurate the resistance ratings are -hoping they're not as junky as the heads that come with their clearos.

I thought it was a fluke with the one copper tip I got a couple days ago, but then a few more came today. They don't fit half the caps of anything I own. They don't fit kayfun/Russians/RBAs. They do fit RSST, igo w, and cartos. Still waiting on delivery of the 3D to see if they fit that. I got them to go on the copper nemesis/3D combo. Eh we'll see.

Yea, I've noticed the same thing. Tips/Tops are very inconsistent. Gets frustrating when you find that perfect and it will not fit......or Wobbles.

I had a bunch of these - about 10 - and only recently realized I had to actually 'apply' them to an order to use them. (For some reason, I assumed any refund would simply apply to the next order.) Well, anyway, they totaled $107 so I placed an order and applied them. I wasn't sure it would but the system let me apply all of them with no problem. Great so far. But when I hit the 'checkout' button, it came back with a message that 'Value of Custom element has been truncated'.
Now I seem to be stuck. I can't place the order and the items remained in my cart. I opened a ticket early yesterday but haven't heard anything.
Last night I got a quote from FastTech regarding a large quantity of bottles. I really want to get those bottles on their way so I deleted the original items from my cart and added the bottles but the system keeps trying to apply the $107 and I keep getting the same message about customs.
By the way, my gift certificates have been zeroed out.
I realize I'll probably have to wait for FastTech to respond but I'm hoping someone here has experienced something similar and has a simple solution. Any help would be very much appreciated.
