I started with simple single coil IGO-L: still a solid performer today. I drilled air hole to 1/16th inch for lung hitting ability.

Since then I mostly use: IGO-W, Magma Style, Nimbus and Patriot. The Magma for out and about: holds .9ml, adjustable air holes (9), dual or single coil and the rest at home.

Mine are well made and always perform well (great flavor and vapor) - I can't really say that about most any other my other e-cig hardware. Which is why I am an rda junkie - all I use as a topper.

Stew, you could try putting it in the freezer for a few minutes? I have heard of folks doing this with tanks that the bottom was stuck on.

Might want to use a little Noalox when you do get it apart.

Hopefully you are in 18650 mode. Freeze it and put all your attention to separating at the tube joints. Once separated the switch and top can likely be removed with less effort.

Next time only snug the After securing the topper/top cap. Do not tighten the switch, just snug.

Freezing didn't work, but I was able to find a screwdriver that fit in the 510 connection and as soon as I loosened that up a bit, everything unscrewed easily. Very weird, almost like there was a vacuum created inside the device or something. Anyway, all good now.

That is exactly what happens to my nautilus at times. Glad that you got it figured out.

Their Tobh, Quasar and Origen v2 are all fantastic RDAs.

I just received my quasar and brass paps yesterday, dual coil .4 ohms fantastic indeed! Helios is now on backup status.

The Igo-L and Igo-W are both good, but IMO need the airhole(s) drilled out to achieve a satisfactory vape. Easy to do for some but not everyone has a drill/press to tackle that conveniently.
The Igo-Ms have huge adjustable airflow, so no problems there, but the stainless M (A) has the recessed type post holes, similar to your Omega, so a bit more fidgety to build for a beginner. The stainless (with drip tip), black or gold Ms have a different deck with a higher post hole position, so would be an easier build.
You might want to consider the newly released Tobh. My personal favorite. :thumb: It looks great, has adequate airflow, accessible post holes and those stylish functionable cooling fins. Whistles...

If you can't drill a hole bigger you would certainly have problems plugging them and drilling them smaller.
People who can't drill holes should probably stay out of RBA/RDA, at least be willing to get set up or find someone who does custom tiny drilling.

My final verdict on adjustable holes are they're pretty much (not completely) worthless. The tolerances aren't tight enough to keep air from coming between. Completely worthless if it comes to wanting to use a dual as a single that has the option to turn it so one is blocked, condensation will start leaking.
That leads us back to the best way is to know some some metal working skills and make the holes the size you want, plug the ones you don't want.

I've written IGO M off because of the size of the holes. Those would take a stainless welder to plug.

What's a hot FT dripper these days? I orderd an Omega awhile back but ended up trading it because it was too hard to build (for me). I was thinking IGO, but I get paralyzed by the fact that there are about 30 versions. Anyone have a solid one (IGO or otherwise) they can recommend? I'm looking for simple (single or dual coil) with an emphasis on easy building.

I have also got the Omega from Fasttech. While I think it's great, the high walls and the wrongly placed air holes are a pain. I've been thinking of getting the Stillare. What do you guys and gals think of that one?

Just insanely slow shipping. Still waiting on 5 orders going back to may 10th, Chinese ebay sellers are never this slow. I'm thinking I should stop opting for registered mail as this may slow it down? Or they don't really ship it when they say (tracking is rubbish) and just keep in line with stock statuses. I really have to plan purchases from there or I just end up buying twice in an emergency. /Rant

Registered is a pain and you must sign for it. Go with the China post e packet it hasn't let me down yet! 8-9 days if ships next day

If u got a drill the Taurus is awesome and the stillare (with brass posts) is such a hard hitter I love that rda

Nice mod... whistles, I like the black/black internals on this Kayfun :thumb:. We are eyeing a similar set up with the full polycarbonate section...
It's on our wishlist, but we are waiting for some (hopefully) positive reviews on it. A bit concerned on the endurance of this PVD. Please keep us updated on your experiences if you can.

Update on the black keyfuns from FT, as said before, the build machine quality does seem really good, and I am not a novice to the kayfun, but damn these 2 black ones have been a real PITA, I could not stop the damn things from leaking, one was leaking from the bottom seal, so fixed that by adding 2 orings to the bottom piece, the other one, the juice just flowed out of the air hole, it would empty the whole tank within 15 minutes, I solved that one today, by swapping out the oring in the top cap where the chimney goes in, so even though the actual machine part is really good on them, the orings are crap, but for the price, not a big deal to switch out the orings.

Not good for someone who is not very knowledgeable on the kayfuns, but if use to them and know how they work, then still worth the money in my eyes.

    Thanks Nailz, good advice.
I'll add a few assorted packs of orings when I eventually order it.

Sorry I know this has been askeda million times, but I'm ordering one of the hana clones and since it has a battery inside, not all of the shipping options are available. I can only choose is Singapore, Malaysia, regular air and Swiss post. I'm in the US, which would be fastest?

Well, Fasttech's Daily additions have made it that much easier for me to stop placing orders.
I have everything I need, some things I may need down the road and things I'll probably never need again.

They pretty much clinched it with the ever increasing number of Factory second quality and careless damage items shipping.

Just received my Replacement SS Omega Dripper. While the holes are drilled in a useable position, unlike the first one, the replacement has 2 really nice large scrapes in the top Cap. Both are right over the Omega Symbol and extremely annoying.

Perhaps someday, maybe if they ever offer Nemesis switches, maybe - just maybe I'll consider them.
