I'll be the first one to say that I'm always on the lookout for a good deal, but, please think twice about buying clone dna30's from fastech or wherever. I highly recommend you watch Phil Busardo's two part vid at Evolv. This company is worth supporting, so if you have any integrity and decency, just save a few more sheckles and buy the real deal...

Iv use the text updates and they text hours before the website changes. But still everything been quite since the 2nd then this morning i get a text saying its in my city, 5 minutes later text its out for delivery, 20 minutes later i walk out to the box and theirs the mail man with not only my FT order but 2 other orders also lol but the other two orders updated me normally while the shipped.

This is from a different order that I received yesterday. This one is even funnier than the one that didn't update at all (not fasttech, I know, but just funny about usps' tracking efficiency)

somehow this package arrived at my local post office several hours before it left the local sorting facility! LOL

You know... this kind of post just steams my buttons. I have plenty of integirty and decency so... you. I buy a LOT of stuff from US shops. However, I am also not made of money and if I decide I want to try something from Fasttech, you can kiss my rear end. Evolv might be great, and even though you may or may not have any real involvement with them as a spokesperson, you have just made me not want to have anything to do with them.

I watch PBusardo's videos all the time (loved his deadliest catch adventure, and have never laughed so hard as when watching his original crab juice review)... that doesn't mean I am indecent or have any lack of integrity if I choose to try a Chinese clone. That's the main thing I took offense at.

People have been saying buy American for 60 years now or you will be sorry. Quite frankly that ranks up there with the Man Made Global Warming farce. We are in a global economy. You either get on the train or be left in the 50's. The choice is yours. If the government would stop their fiasco in the import/export rules.. lower the corporate tax rate... We would all be better off. They are putting to many barriers up.

Many people fail to see we went through this less than 100 years ago. Other countries are trying to catch up and going throw the same growing pains.

Well that may be true...but when China steals, replicates, then slaps EVOLV on the screen, that is hardly a fair competitive marketplace, and tantamount to theft and copyright infringment.

You're right on that one. I think they look MUCH better without the logo.

For me in this case, if it were a ±$20 difference ("just a few more dollars"), then absolutely, I'd buy the original. But it's not, it's like four times as much! That's way more than "just a few," and becomes hard to justify. Maybe Hana should've opted for volume to make their money, and priced them more reasonably, like China did.

True if there is a proper copyright or trademark infringement. Even if a case came up on the mechs, all the mech mods are basically the same thing. Just a person throwing a different name and pic on it. Heck look at the Nemesis. Anne Stokes could sue for a blatant rip off of her art work unless atmomixani worked a deal with her.


Only one way to prove who was first. If a person as an inventor/visionary, has enough intelligence to be this fantastic innovator, that person should be intelligent enough to protect his property.. or at least hire a good attorney. If not then no proof and is fair game.

Anyway the first person to patent something similar to an e-cig was Gilbert. The modern day one is Hon Lik. So I guess you could say they all stole from Lik who stole from Gilbert. Search the patent records, you will find that Big tobacco was involved in different form of "vaporizers" 30 years ago. I know I am sayign the obvious but Hon Lik is Chinese.

Got it running now 6wraps 2.4mm ID 28g nichrome80 .8 ohms using SS mesh. Besides the tiny airholes (will be drilling that out) its working pretty dang good.

Like $175 extra dollars. If the difference were a "few dollars" I could see the point. Personally I would prefer the cloners to leave the labels off as thats not really important to me. I guess some like it though.

And just for kicks, the extra dollars I have from buying FT get spent for the most part in local business.

For anyone who's interested, here's a little update in my dominator saga.
The AFC ring was way too spinny, so I fixed it in place with some duct tape, lube and a whole lot of determination. This post is already sounding dirty, but I don't mean it that way.
After many failed attempts, I managed to get a simple 1.2ohm dual coil dealie going on, and I have to admit.. this bugger is hitting like a champ. I never, ever want to build it again, but the way it's working right now, it may be my new favorite dripper.
Anyway, I gave my protank II clone and an ego with charger to my ohana uncle to see if he can handle switching to vaping. He loves it, but alzheimer's makes it difficult for him to remember how to do new things. I've never seen an ego like this, but it seems like it would be a good solution. Charging and switching the battery out less often would mean less chance for something to go wrong. Has anyone tried this one?
