I have a brushed stainless steel Vamo V2 from fasttech, and its awesome ... Can't say how the stock from a US vendor would compare, as I have never purchased a Vamo from a US vendor, but I can say that the US vendor received their Vamo stock from China, and very possibly from the same supplier ... if not from Fasttech themselves (several US vendors buy from FT).

don't hesitate. they are all made in china. just as good or bad as anything else. i use a FT vamo for about a year. still going strong, although i mostly use mechs. be warned that the vamo is a very big device, somehow uncomfortable in 650 mode.

I'm thinking jam up nose, roundhouse kick.. then maybe order a new Vamo.. but maybe not.

Fasttech sells it cheaper because they can, and they get the "formula". ;-) People buy more when they think they are getting a really good deal, so Fasttech moves way more inventory than the average US vendor, and therefore makes more money in the long run. US vendors like 101vape get this as well.

As a rule you should expect at least a 200% mark up, if not 300-500% from any US vendor ... why? Because they can (Capitalism). I can promise you that it doesn't cost a US vendor anymore than it cost FT to secure the same merchandise (cost of shipping to US aside) ... I used to be an online retailer (non ecig related), and all my product was supplied by China, so I know the true costs of doing business online. ;-)

Joey13091, You get what you purchase, not what you pay for. And the price you get it at depends on your place in the supply chain, which will improve if you manage to remove extraneous middlemen.

For half the price I'm willing to support local (now that I actually have a real local vape shop). Sometimes it's 200%-500% above the FT price, that's when it's getting ridiculous.

Within 6 months of opening one location my local is opening a second location (a few blocks away from me, yay) and that's with less than 100% above FT's prices.
I can pay more to support a local business and help keep them running but as a businessman I can't justify some of the pricing I see.

I probably would just buy from a shop if the prices weren't outrageous because I'm a "want it now" type of person. But I don't have any shops near me so I do all my vape shopping online.

Is it a clone, clone of what? Or is it used for the stuff we're not allowed to talk about here? I've seen a few of these type of attys pop up at a new shop near me using that cup with a coil in it. Only thing I can thing of is it's for other stuff.
