I got the Rocket V1 for 12 bucks and I'm happy with it. I haven't rebuilt it yet, still using the stock coil, but so far it's performed flawlessly. If the rebuild goes well, I'm going to order a couple more.

Well, if you are enjoying it with that junk stock coil(Hope you cleaned the unit) you are going to love it once you perfect a Nano coil and cotton setup.:D
I bought 2 and they perform every bit as good as a kayfun/Russian
You can also mod the top to use your own drip tips.:2cool:

Anybody have any luck with a kf/Russian style atomizer? .

TIA

I hate to say this, but I have three - one each of the 3.1, the 91 and the KFL and they all work extremely well. I've had no problems that reading the manual didn't solve. :) I prefer the first two, but even the KFL, the latest and least expensive, is fine.

My little Taifun GS will be in my hands tomorrow. So the VTR will feel a bit less left out.

Edited to add: I've just tried verifying the air hole alignments in the $14 KFL, and I must say that having them aligned seems to have made a major improvement in ease of draw. However, at the same time, I swapped the inside chamber of the KFL for the Russian 91 chamber (which fits, but just barely). It is also an improvement, and it now functions identically to the other two.

This is why, while I don't want to advise against getting the $14 KFL, both the Russian and the 3.1 clones are better in my opinion.

Please, give us an update on the Taifun GS. My girlfriend started smoking again after 8 months vaping and she wants to go the rebuildable route because she sees that i'm happy with them.
Probably a GS would suit her needs better :)

2-A9 RBA's

I notice you ordered more than one of the RDA mini, SM30, and A9. Is that because you've already tried them and really like them?

This is why I buy clones. All of this cost less than ONE 'authentic' mod. And I still have more coming (Poldiac, Gold Patriot, Helio Foggy, 10x Ego rings, 510 eGo adapters, more drip tips, Brass Kraken sleeve)

Atom, Caravela, Kayfun Lite, Kraken, Omega, 3x Patriot, Chi You tubes, Chi You top caps, Kick, drip tips

The Kayfun Lite is surprisingly well made. Some of the threads are just a tad glitchy, but just needs to be threaded on carefully, really not bad at all, and only a couple little bumps in the threads while threading. Everything fits together very well, channels are drilled out just right. Honestly, if this had shipped when it was supposed to, I would never have bought the ehPro KFL+. IMO it's that good. Will need some major cleaning though, I can smell the machining oil residue on it.

The Omega is fantastic. I wasn't expecting so much for so little. I haven't set it up yet, but I love the dual air holes and adjustable air flow. The posts have the holes in them so I don't have to F around with wrapping the wires around the screw posts, like I have to with that stupid IGO-L (which I think SUCKS btw).

The Patriot is nice looking, but has a tiny air hole and no adjustability. Shame I bought 3 of these... lol

The little SS drip tip is amazing for the price. I can't believe it's so cheap, when people sell these shorty style drip tips for over $20 most places.

All in all, despite the frustrating delays and misleading stock/shipping times, WELL worth the money spent. Everything I've purchased would cost nearly $1000 if I bought everything from the original makers.

I sure could use something like that for the engraving I'm going to be doing. How's the clarity on that one? The one I have doesn't have a very clear magnifying glass.

Not sure, just linked an example. I shop things like that locally so I can inspect first. My eyes are really getting bad.:(

That's good to know. I have one of those on the way, should be here toward the end of the week or the first of next week. Yes, think goodness for the clones. The nice think is, it usually drives up sales for the originals (if they're any good) as well. I do wish they wouldn't clone the logos though. I'd much prefer just a plain polished or brushed finish.
