In my experience the SS King is the best value. It takes all 18 series batteries and a Kick. It has a really nice locking ring, smooth threading and an adjustable pin. Laser etching looks durable.

$26.00 King Style Mechanical Mod - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Just a question for ask you
FT junkies :p what mech mod would you say is the ” best” quality on there for the price? I don't care if its telescopic or not I just want it to be able to use 18650s in it. Thanks in advance.

Does it have reverse threads on the locking ring? Or is it like my all brass one? Idk if the other tubes fit this one yet as I haven't tried them. Will go see and post soon.

*edit
Yeah the tubes from the HCIGAR KING fit this one although the long tube,(18350 mode HCIGAR) is shorter than the long tune on this one. It is for a 18500. (You can't use this one in 18350 but okay by me.) At least the tubes are interchangeable even if it looks a bit gnarly...lol :D

would I make a ticket after 30 days shipped or 10 to 14 days, also are they business days? Am I better makeing a ticket or paypal dispute. I know im being premature here lol but will be helpful to know for future orders too thanks. :):)

Sounds like the Heathrow Black Hole. I have had things in there for a couple of weeks. Also Royal Mail cheapo tracking doesn't update until the package is delivered making it less than useful. Raise a ticket asking them to check on it but the usual first response is to wait a few days. Not sure why you would raise a PayPal claim on an item in transit.

Was 42 days for me. Ordered 2/3/14 received on 3/17/14.
I would say that Black Hole extends across the pond a bit. :D

I ordered one a while ago. Was supposed to ship the 14th, now it just says restocking and they split my order... no word on how long it'll be.

They did that to me with the nemisis:
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1448300

Ordered on 2/11, shipped on 3/4 . .got it today. Also on 2/11, I ordered the magnets and they shipped on 2/13 but have yet to arrive.

The nemi is awesome, though - I'm glad I waited instead of cancelling. I was concerned by some of the posts in the forum but mine is perfect. The threading is really nice - definitely impressed by the quality of the threading. The etchings are really dark and crisp, too. The switch is probably the weak spot of the mod, it feels a bit flimsy and you have to press it in the center or it won't fire. It's not too finicky, though. Overall, for the price, I'm really happy with it so far.

Neme clones all have fickle switches. Those magnets will fix that for ya. It did mine.
I lost the switch pin and had to make one. A small nail and a Dremel does wonders..lol :D

Ok guys and gals, massive problem. What to buy? I have an Origin and an Aqua, a Hammer with a Kayfun 3.1, a ss Nemesis on the way that I'm planing to put my Russian 91% on, a brushed brass Stingray and brass Aqua on the way (and no, I'm not concerned about the brass - and the combo should look fantastic). Here's the problem(s): I also have an Omega RDA on the way (if it ever gets out of restocking, I'm in no hurry though), what mod should I get to put that on (really needs to be a mech)? Second problem, what RBA should I get for my SVD, or should I save it for my left-over clearos?

I just did a review on this one a page or two back. I'm impressed with the throw and the smoothness of the switch.
Only runs in 18500 or 18650 though. You can kick the 18500 mode.

I've been looking at the King for quite some time - the stainless steel though - so that might be an option.

EDIT: just read your review. Reverse threaded locking ring is definitely a plus.

Everything I have is being fussy today, and I don't have patience so I've been vaping on my backups.
$4.49 eGo 350mAh Rechargeable Mini Battery for E-Cigarette - black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
with
$1.07 eGo Beauty Ring for 2.0mL ViVi Nova Atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
to make it pretty with
$5.76 A6 Mini Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
and topped with
$1.96 Stainless Steel Round Mouth Drip Tip for 510 / ViVi Nova / DCT (Small) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The batteries only last a few hours, but I'm at home so it's not a huge deal to switch them out. The a6 is just super easy for me to rebuild at 2.5ohms. Using bamboo wick, I can put a good 10 drops in there, and all I have to do is push down the center post when I switch batteries. It's a little under 105mm high, 14mm wide, simple, and it works without being fiddly.

I'm tempted to get rid of all my more "advanced" gear. ;) KISS?

I recommend the Atom for the Omega to sit on top of.

Defective Squape

Yet another defective Fast Tech product... Surprise, surprise...

1.6 Ohm resistance between Center Pin and Positive Terminal which has to be near 0.0 Ohm

See for your self:

Also
Fasttech Kayfun 3.1 and Taifun GT are full of surprises.
Finally, I had my two defective Kayfun’s 3.1 replaced by FT. The original order was placed on Dec. 20/2013. Today is March 5/2014 and I received my replacements today. The reason I had them replaced because they were shorting right in the 510 connection of it. See Picture.

I thought the replacements would be better? Wrong. They are worse. Both have the same shorting problem, but this time I figured out why: The center screw that serves as a positive connector fits in the insulator very loosely, thus allows for access play causing the head of the screw touch the side wall and create “Short Circuit”. I pulled a little tiny plastic tubing over the screw and that fixed the problem.
Not to mention that both units were very dirty. I even found a few metal shavings inside left from when they were machined. In one of them, the deck’s positive terminal was loosely swinging back and forth touching the negative terminal. Trying to tighten the center pin didn’t help because the metal wall of the deck on one of them was thinner than the other. And the tube of the plastic insulator protruded too far inside the deck not allowing to tighten the positive terminal firmly. I had to file that tube down to make it work. I don’t know if you can see that on my picture, but the top tube of the chimney is expended for some reason (again, only on one of the units) and that tube does not fit in the O-ring of the top cap, and of course, the O-ring was missing, because there is no way you could put it together without damaging the O-ring. I had to fix that problem too by sanding the chimney and finding an O-ring. I’m not going to have these Kayfuns replaced by FT because there is no use in it.

I don’t know who the manufacturer of this product is. I know it NOT EHPRO because I have one from them and it is way better made with no logo though, but with the bottom Fill Screw. I know it is NOT HCIGAR because I have one of those too and they are much better quality clones 1:1. I hope it is NOT ToBeCo, because I own other products of ToBeCo and no complaints.
Does anyone know who makes Fast Tech KayFun 3.1? The worst Kayfun I have ever seen.
I also had a Fast Tech Taifun GT replaced because the one I originally received had no threads under one of the Terminal screws. That’s right: Not Stripped threads – NO threads. Just a hole in which the screw was inserted all the way and would fall out if you flip it upside down. I posted Product Review on it but Fast Tech didn’t publish it. My replacement didn’t have that problem, but it had another: The collapsible chimney would not collapse. It is so snug that I’m afraid to brake it if I fours it too much. And by too much – I mean: put it on the floor and step on it or squeeze it in a vise. Everything else I already tried – no use. I built it anyway with SS Mash wick and 0.01X0.08 Flat Kanthal ribbon to 0.7 Ohms, put it on Chi You and I love it! Hard to work without being able to collapse the chimney though… But for $19.95 and Free Shipping – I’m going to keep it.

Idk either but the HCIGAR one I got was top notch for a clone. Well put together and the only problem with it is that I can't seem to get that nasty metallic taste out. Not a tank fan anyway so if you need another one, PM me..lol :D
