Looks like ship on so many days on items works both ways, had it where items say they will ship in 5 days and in fact taken 8 days, but shipment on 1 and 2 both said would ship in 5 days on these last orders, but shipment 2 shipped the next day and shipment 1 shipped 2 days after ordering, so that was a pleasant surprise from FT

Slight differences - Original has 3 center screws(different lengths)
Brass has 2 holes to assist in removal if to tight.

next day they messaged me back to which I asked it to be changed to the other one and got a answer again the next day that it was done just cheek its correct and its already in packaging, hope it ships out tomorrow now. if you change it to the cheaper one it should ship fast like me but you will have to wait probably as its near the weekend and they are closed on monday.

I'll bet they looked at my ticket, and decided to let it ride until the eighth, in case the blue comes in. I really don't care what color they are. Really. I just want my cartotanks.

My order has been in the "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" status for 2 weeks now and I was just wondering is this China customs? And what's the longest you've had an order in that status?

My recent order said the same thing, for a long time as well, cant remember exactly how long,10 days at least. But out if nowhere it pops up in Los Angeles(I had the email alert on), im out of Sacramento. From when it showed in LA till I had it was about 2 days. So, nothing for weeks then boom, here. Wierd way of doin business, but I expect to put up with such things when ordering from Ft, so overall, im happy.

Dave if you used Malaysia Post and you have been stuck in the "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" for the last two weeks, there is a thread on the FastTech forums with several people in this situation, as I myself am in. I would suggest opening up a Ticket if it has not moved in the last two weeks. Again this is for Malaysia Post shipments with the Origin Post is preparing Shipment with the dates between March 15th thru March 26th. Good Luck and I hope all goes well.

Mine was shipped USPS Express ePacket via China Post. I'll give it some more time and just see what happens. Think if I stop watching and just let things play out it'll be like AntC had happen.

Placed my FT order 3/10/2014, was expecting at least a month because a couple items were ship in 5 days & 7 days. They split my shipment when all but 2 items were ready to ship. First pkg was shipped 3/24, second pkg was complete & shipped 3/25. Recieved first pkg today 4/3 so I'm expecting second pkg tomorrow, but no !! USPS for some reason shipped it on a sight seeing tour.

My last Malaysia post didn't move for a month, then showed Out For Delivery today. Batteries are gonna be 4-6 weeks.

Seems to me there are a lot of new FT customers that don't realize the shipping issues and come here to ask questions, i.e. Has anyone else had this happen? or have ordered before but this time it's different and want to know if anyone else has experienced this issue. That doesn't seem like whining and no reason to be such a jerk. I was under the impression that the forum was for sharing information. Asking questions, whether about product or shipping, is needing help and that's what we are supposed to do, or so I thought.

i was being sarcastic in naming my thread "whining". obviously nobody will post anything in a "whining" thread.

but this thread used to contain frequent useful information. now it's mainly about shipping times which most of us just gloss over.

9 out 0f 10 posts these days can be answered with "yeh, it's slow. tracking sucks. Try aftership." it is absurd.


mebbe we should just create a new non-whiny-shipping-time-FT thread, and leave this one alone.

the point is that there are many ways to skin a cat. if folks want to post and complain about shipping details, they should be allowed to. likewise, there should be a place where we can post only info about products--kinda like this thread started as. there is no incentive that i can see to force it all into one thread, which you seem to be advocating.

This could be considered being a jerk, it certainly isn't nice or helpful in any way.

When you first ordered from Fasttech and had shipping delays did you ask questions? I bet if I went through your timeline I would see you did, you simply wanted reassurance your product would make it to you...this is why there are so many shipping related posts.
