I saw that Sony said that they did not make a VTC5 yet, that those marketed as such are not real, just FYI; I say batteries are not something we want to flip a coin with.
They were briefly in stock about 3 weeks ago. At that time a FT rep siad it was authentic old stock. I'm guessing today they've found more? I don't know of FT selling fakes as authentic but that's all I've got.

Even if they were authentic, 2-3 months is a long time to wait, just to save a few bucks. Sometimes it doesn't even make it at all, then you'd have to go back and forth with CS. I just heard today that Sony's gonna start making these again, so they'll probably be readily/domestically available again soon. Plus it won't be old stock. :2c:

Here is what I saw:

Isn't that the truth, ordered two different packages 2 weeks ago, one just now says it's being sorted, the other just received, hasn't even left China yet.... geez.

Ordered a pair of VTC5's on October 14th and after a 2 week wait they'll finally be heading to Canada

Latest tracking says: 2014-10-25 00:00, CA, The item ( RC********HK ) will leave Hong Kong for its destination on 29-Oct-2014.

By my estimations it will roughly takes 21 days for a boat to go from Hong Kong to Vancouver, another 7-14 days to clear customs and 7 to get to my door in Toronto. So hopefully I'll have them before Christmas! lol

The ce4 clearomisers I got from fast tech for someone who likes them were utter rubbish. Went and ordered some from another site.
Not going to bother returning them , by the time they get back to them and then back to me.
One battery out of four I got has stopped working and I'm waiting on three more.

CE4 clearomizers are a rubbish design period. All top coil disposable attys are.

Except Kanger T2 - if you know how to use a top coil clearomizer.:) A good, simple beginner clearo.

I'm really hating on China Post. They never seem to figure out how to track or ship in any reasonable fashion. My HKP order earlier this month Shipped and arrived in 8 days.
My China Post shipment took 4 days just to show as accepted.:glare: Heck, it might be in a back room in China or sitting in US customs but no way to really tell.

I received an Erlkonigin clone ($20 version in silver box) along with atomizer stands and 30ml bottles with needle tips. The Erlk clone is very good to excellent quality. Highly recommend them. The atomizer stands are great too. They don't have threads, which I like, and great for building or keeping extra tanks on. I had a few needle tip caps that I've been using and found they work well for dripping and filling tanks. Way better than the blunt plastic tips. Cheap too, about half the price of just the caps alone in the states.

Now, do those things really hold 8ml? "blink: and yeah, I love those needle caps. My Pulse G has a teeny weeny fill hole that no plastic tip will ever fill - same for all my other stuff. And I can drip with those without creating that nasty surface tension. I just swirl it around and hope I got everything wet, cuz yeah, I'm that lazy! I put in a request for the tall skinny bottles though (same shape as a mod). Hope they come through with those.

If you fill to the very top, it probably would hold 8ml. I leave a little air pocket in there so about 6-7ml? It is tricky to set up but there's a ton of great info on the Erlkonigin threads here. There was a guy that ordered the YZP version in a black box and it was total crap. I've heard very good things about the one in the silver box and I'd have to say they were spot on. The one in the silver box is great. I have another one coming from FC. I hope that one is good too.

The first needle tip I got was with my KF 3.1 (ordered from FT). At first, I didn't think it worked well with the 3.1 so I always top filled but I tried it again a few weeks later and found the trick was to go slow. I picked up a few more needle tip caps and I found I put them on all the bottles I use most but still didn't have enough so I ordered a 10 pk for $3 or so. Highly recommend them. Most juices come in bottles that you can pop off the plastic blunt nose tips and screw these on. I also don't spill/waste as much juice as I did with the blunt tips. I have a few 10ml and 15ml and a bunch of 30ml bottles. I use the smaller ones for juices that I don't use often and the 30ml for the ADV's and to store the ones I don't use often.

The 22 mm tanks hold 8 ml. The standard 21 mm tanks these come with hold 6 ml, but you can max them out to almost 7 ml, but it messes with the vacuum system.

China measures tank capacity without factoring in the deck, chimney, or anything else inside the tank.

PBusardo filled his 21mm tank to over 7ml with an air pocket.

I forgot to mention it's also very light. I'm using mine on an Istick and it's a perfect match. Balances much better than a KFL+. The Erlk (full tank) and Istick weighs less than a bare MVP2.

Top-coils have their place. I know 'regular' people (non-ECFers) who prefer to just use something with non-replaceable coils like the CE4 and just throw them away and start a new one a couple of times a week.

Good to know. Thank you!

Is this what you're looking for?

ordered Penny mod 1:1 clone on 10/21. they shipped it out on 10/24. it was showing 7 day delay, but i guess they got it going faster. funny thing is, USPS tracking shows it being shipped from chian on 10/28. dates are all mixed up. tho, it's moving faster than i expected. my Stillare V3 1:1 clone just shipped per FT, but if what i have seen with USPS tracking is way it works, i'm sure they just sent notice to chinese counterparts and it really hasn't left china yet. still waiting for Magma 1:1 to be shipped.
