I just received 2 orders today..both were shipped Feb 9 from FT, and ordered Sunday 8 Feb...8 days to Florida from FT...1 was shipped Singapore Post...the other ePacket via China Post....things are moving and being delivered by the shippers...But orders after -9 February may not have made it out of FT or China before the CNY ..

I'm glad to hear you got your order so quickly, but it pisses me off to know I ordered my stuff two weeks prior to your order and I'm sitting here empty handed.
One thing I noticed with FT, is, if you spend more, your order gets better treatment as far as shipping times go. If you spend 50 bucks, you'll probably get your order in 6 weeks. I had a $300 order get to me in 7 business days from China to Canada.

I haven,'t noticed that at all. After several years now of dealing with FT, my order gets the same treatment regardless of how much I spend. It usually ships on or before the expected ship date, and if it doesn't there isn't much FT could have done about it
JB69, no batteries, e-liquid or knives in your order? That sucks. I hope it gets straightened out quickly when they get back. That's definitely not the norm for them.
Freeall, I haven't noticed that either. More often than not, I scrounge for stuff to get my order up to $20 and my orders have arrived anywhere from 6-15 days. I did place an order on the 10th that hasn't gotten past "Awaiting Shipment," but I imagine it's sitting on a dock somewhere behind a looong line of supplier/vendor orders that always jam up China shipping this time of the year. This holiday happens every year, yet they always wait till the last minute to stock up on stuff.

Idk, I've ordered maybe 5 times in the past 5 years from FT and never waited more than 2 weeks for an order, give or take. I just figure if you spend 12 bucks, chances are the bigger orders will be more of an importance than yours,even though, to be fair, they should all be treated equally.
Some people are talking months to get an order? That's crazy talk. Maybe I've just been lucky. I've had many nightmares with countless vendors, but FT has always been good with me.

I placed 2 orders with them on the 3rd; 2 because I split it up due to one item it said wouldn't ship for 7 days; they both were ready to ship the next day, the one that said it wouldn't ship for 7 days is now in the states the other one is 3 days behind it. lol go figure
Once FT ships something it's at the mercy of the various postal systems. How timely their scanning system is, how well it's digitally connected to other postal systems and how small and light the package is all affect perceived movement and actual shipping speed.

2 of my 3 late Jan orders have made to San Fran. Sat for about 2 weeks in Black Hole, China but free at last.
I thought everything was going to be stuck again like in Oct 2013 but looks like they are moving again.
first time i saw anything going through xiamen ems...thought maybe something got screwed up in their shipping..still not sure.....
My Jan.27th order left San Francisco almost 24 hours ago. My Jan.30th order is still at 'processed through sort facility' in China. They both went Xiamen EMS China.

I've got 6 orders on the way, first time ordering from FT. 3 were just the free shipping that says up to 45 days, the other 3 I paid for the upgraded ePacket.
Does this mean that all 3 are still in China? Order dates were 1/27, 2/7 and 2/11. I hoped to get at least 1 of them by now.
