I have two that I got a week ago. Looking at the edge of the tank I would guess straight-up glass not Pyrex. When I took them out of the package I thought they were Poly-carb but after tapping the tank, going by the sound, I went with glass.
The referenced page says they're glass. Pyrex? Maybe not :)

I see what everyone means about the 'however many days to ship' have waited 10days already for the istick to ship, now it says restocking so they will probably add at least another 5 days to it :(.
On the plus side my protank and aerotank 1.1 clone have shipped so hopefully I'll at least have some spare tanks for my itaste vv4

so anyone else ordered these mini protanks? > https://www.fasttech.com/p/1707200
they said that the tanks are glass but....

i don't think they are glass.......submitted a support ticket shall hopefully hear back soon....only had it for bout a week....

thankfully for the time being the air control valve fits on the regular sized protanks :D

I've done triple takes with their glass too. I'm not sure what it is, but my first impression was plastic and only when taking a closer look decied it was glass. I even showed to a glass artist friend and they didn't know what it was. Less likely to break in my opinion and experience. Doesn't crack or cloud. I'm tempted to put a flame on it just to see what happens.

I get so frustrated with their ETA and shipping dates that I've wished the stuff wasn't even shown - then realized they'd have very little left. I guess that's the price of demand out pacing supply in a growing industry. I know I'd never try half the stuff I have without having access like FT. I'd probably still be using ego's. Vaping would be cheaper.

I have been interested in a box mod. I ask FT if I could view the user manual prior to purchase. I was hoping to get a few more bits of information before purchasing. FT said sorry, we can't do that.
If I can't get any review, vid or additional confirming information other than what FT informs us about, no sale. Even then, I purchase with the idea that if it's not what I was led to believe, I'm out whatever I paid for it. If you know what you are buying, FT is a good deal providing it does not come damaged. Good luck to all FT buyers.

BrotherBob, that's why you come here and ask about the item as well ;) chances are someone here's bought it.....unless it's something newly listed.....
yep, always read reviews or discussions on FT but ALWAYS ask here before buying to make sure you're getting honest opinions :)

Could it have gotten damaged from shipping? Maybe it didn't hold up to the pressure.

it may have...i didn't see any damage but it could have been weak already and then became worse after filling....
they are going to send a replacement glass piece ;) but i gotta get a better pic of it for them.....
 ft support....any issues i've had with them they have always been great about correcting it

That's good to hear,i have never had to deal with them before, but had to open my first ticket yesterday. The package i waited on since Feb. 2nd finally showed up yesterday.I ordered 5 glass sections for the orchid v6,and 4 out 5 had big chips out of the glass all around the edges,i also ordered 5 tank sections for the aqua v2,the order says 1 5 pack,i got 1 tank section haha.I opened the ticket last night, not expecting much,so it's good to hear they have done right with you, hopefully i'll have the same luck.

just make sure to take clear pics of the damage....and sometimes they like a pic of the package it came in just in case.....
i had ordered some mod stands from them when they first started carrying them all 5 were smashed....so had to take pics of the packaging (where it was obviously mishandled at some point) and pics of the shattered stands..... and then again with a plastic vivi nova, it was smashed when i got it.....
i've ordered a lot from them ;) and almost everything that has gone wrong wasn't on their end (well the stands where.....why would you try to put plastic stands into a bubble wrap mailer, instead of packed safely into a box) but they've either replaced or given store credit, once a full refund (the stands)
and all returns get mailed to a location in the us (I believe it was Florida, been a while since I had to return anything)

Yeah, when i opened the ticket it had me load front and back pictures of the packaging and another picture of all contents.I got one of the damage on the glass too,but they haven't asked for that one yet.It was definitely due to their packaging though,it was 5 glass tubes stacked on each other end to end with nothing between them, wrapped with a single layer of bubble wrap, then they put the metal coil winder right on top of them and all just thrown into a bubble envelope haha. The tank for the aqua that should have been a 5 pack, was a long plastic sleeve that looks like it originally had 5 in it,but i only got the 1,hopefully they will fix it all,but the glass is the bigger issue since i use those tanks alot more.

Okay it's been a very long time coming, sorry, but in case anyone's still interested, I started looking at the o-ring I ordered from FT for my Version A Heron clone.

I haven't tried everything, but I found a match right off the bat for the o-ring I already needed replacements for...the really thick one on the chimney section...for some reason whenever I reassemble that part it catches some of the ring and pinches it off when I snap that end onto the tank section, eventually making it pretty gnarly and leaky...but no worries b/c I'm set with 20 replacements...

Edit: Also, the middle sized o-rings below:

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1209500

...seem to be the same diameter as the two rings that circle the screw-on deck enclosure, but much thicker than what came with the mod. This may be a good thing, since the o-rings that came with the mod on this section didn't form a good seal due to being too thin. I have had to bulk them up by wrapping dental floss in the grooves and putting the o-rings on top of them. Now...the o-rings linked above could solve that issue entirely since they are thicker. Too lazy to try tonight, will report back tomorrow.

Thanks for the report, javyn. Eagerly awaiting the verdict tomorrow.

Okay,

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1088603
Fits this section
1.jpg

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1581301
Fits this, also, these are better than what came with the atty, forms a better seal with the tank without the need of dental floss in the grooves

The smallest ring in this set, the 13mm, seems to be a perfect match for a spare o-ring that came with the atty. I'm assuming this one can go around the deck and under the cotton cap. Those seem like a pain to take off so I'm just going to assume lol.
3.jpg

There is also an o-ring that goes under the AFC ring, I'm assuming it's the second one I linked; SKU 1581301. My Heron clone came with three diff sized o-rings, and I believe those 3 SKUs I listed fits them all. The most important are the first two I linked, those are going to be the ones that wear out fastest IMO. Best of luck all. And hope that helps Heretik!
