After many, many purchases from FT something bad happend. I use a debit card to order so I actually have to put the cash in and cant run up our CC. So I put money in, order nine items and on the last step it glitches out. They take my money, order does not go through. They wont do anything, my bank cant help cause its an online purchase. Im out $82.09 CAD. I sent them screen shot of my online banking that clearly shows they billed me and still nothing. I bought $190 CAD worth of various stuff literally two days before this and they wont help me at all. They just lost a good chunk of money in future sales. I had a lot of items I wanted to buy from FT not all vape related but it was a few orders and it would have been in the hundreds. I was going to place that today after I got some cash from a job I did, not anymore.
This is why you always use the PayPal option, the receipt comes from pp first then from fasttech. And when something goes wrong you have the purchase in your PayPal history, so nothing can be denied or brushed off.

There is no direct exchange, your paying PayPal who then pays fasttech( or whoever)

hmmmm thanks for the tip, and to the original post. I have a paypayl account and will probably make my orders to fasttech through that now just as a safety measure.

Ye, I wish I had of. I dont really care to to much about the money I mean it sucks but whats even worse is I cant order from them anymore after that, I just cant.
Try contacting the debit card issuer and see if they have a procedure for filing a fraud complaint. They should be able to charge back the seller.

I know. I sent them all the SKU # and the screen shot but nothing. The bank said they cant help me cause it was an online purchase.
Try submitting it to the bank as a fraud issue rather than a purchase issue. They are trying to charge you for nothing, which you may be able to get them to see it as fraud. Just grasping at straws here, I know.

Maybe try FT CS again too. Say something like :
"Please note that I have been charged and paid for an order on April 30, 2015 (?) that I don't believe appears in your system. The reason for this is that a computer glitch occurred while I was placing the order. If this order did in fact go through and you have it in your system, please send me the order and tracking numbers. If not, I respectfully ask you to please process the order or issue a full refund. Below please find my bank statement showing the charge, the screen shot of my order, and a list of the items that were on that order. Please also note that it is considered fraudulent to accept my funds with no order attached to it." ...something like that...

Again, maybe they just didn't understand what the problem was (language barrier). :2c:

all of my orders have arrived on US soil in new york. dont know the routing either but thats where mine usually go, then its about 5 days to reach me in california.
I'm in SF and my stuff goes to LA. NY for a CA order is weird. Why my stuff doesn't go to SF directly is weird too. Always goes to LA first.

Hi all - first time posting on this thread.

I have made several purchases from Fasttech and apart from the wait I am generally happy. I always pay through Paypal, however since their recent changes Paypal is starting to refuse to pay transactions that involve e-cigarette equipment. That said, they have so far only refused one order which included the name Nautilus. I get the impression that Paypal has introduced some keywords which it fails to honour. Also I don't know whether this applies only to EU countries where the Tobacco Products Directive (which insanely includes also e-cigarettes) will come into force shortly.

I said something very similar except I added the fact that I have been buying a lot of stuff from FT for years now. I can try the fraud angle I suppose, who knows. I really like FT though don't get me wrong but this is just stupid.

FT takes a picture of the package before it ships. Ask them where the picture is? I don't understand. I've had packages not arrive and FT has replaced the order (eventually). Maybe policies have changed? I've had problems using PayPal with FT and that's because my orders usually contain Kanger, Aspire or something like that and PP won't accept those items. I've been forced to use FT's system.

My debit card shows a Visa logo and because it does, it comes with all the protections of Visa. I don't use it online but I should be able to and be protected. That's an area where bank policies can vary widely.

You are probably protected but I wouldn't want to go through all the worry and the hassle of proving the fraud. I never, ever use a debit card online. I always use a credit card with a low limit (which I replenish through online banking when I need to) - that way if the credit card is hacked or something whoever it is only has access to a small amount.

Good for you. My point was there are more than one way to do it and bank policies vary widely. It's best to talk to your bank to figure out the best approach. Some banks offer a virtual credit card good for one time use. Mine doesn't. I've got it in writing that with the Visa logo, the process for dispute is exactly the same. I've been surprised at how bank policies vary. Not everyone has the option of multiple credit cards.

The comment was directed at the OP in case their debit card carries a major credit card logo, they may have similar guarentees and weren't informed, which wouldn't be the first time. I didn't know until I asked directly. Sometimes it takes more than one customer service rep to get the correct answers also.

Still, FT post pictures of packages that they ship out. It seems to me that if a pic of the order wasn't posted, then they should realize the order wasn't filled.

Lithuania has already enforced, so no Internet sales here.

Could you please expand further. I am in Malta and expect EU policy will be enforced throughout in the coming months. What online purchases are being prohibited specifically? Mech mods, regulated mods, atomizers, cartomizers, nicotine, flavours. juices? Would the prohibition also include naked IMR batteries, resistance wire (kanthal and/or nichrome), cotton, silica wick etc? Amazon and eBay all sell 0 nictone juices for hookahs. It really is very confusing... and possibly quite easy to get round if you have some nicotine stored. But please tell us more.
