I ordered from GearBest for the first time the Kangxin VF since they had it for $39 and FT wanted $52. That's enough to jump ship. I took all the standard options for shipping (also ships free). I usually see FT orders in 10-14 days, sometimes sooner (if it's not held up in US customs).
This morning I get an email from GB saying it's shipped (yeah!) and tracking ...
WTH - 'surface mail', is that horse and buggy? There's no batteries, no juice, nothing extra, Just the mod. That sounds like I'll be lucky to see it by the end of July. Crap. By then we'll be vaping nuclear technology or something else. It seems crazy and I feel stupid for ...? Idk. I've been hearing about this place for some time - but surface mail?

Fastest ever FT order this week.
Ordered on June 4. Got it on June 11.
It was batteries. But it didn't ship from China,it shipped from NJ.
One way to look at it is I average 2 weeks from China to NY and it took DHL a week to getfrom NJ to NY.

I don't know about the Netherlands but what I do know about getting batteries via Sweden is I think the postman actually walks across the continent to deliver the goods.... in your case he would even need to swim.
Joking apart, I hope you get your stuff soon. Seeing as it's free shipping I take it this too is a Chinese, or at least Far Eastern site.

Well I didn't expect this. When ordered, I thought it woudl take 20 days from shipped. I looked today and it is at my post office. If the bottle is still in good shape, I should be the vaping guinea pig tonight.

If anyone's interested, I found a source for the Jade Ming tip that FT used to carry. These do have a tiny bore but in this case, I think it intensifies flavor, they don't get hot and they fit. I like mine (#5). Jade Mings
I may get more since I haven't found any others like them.

Has anyone here tried the subtank mini clones from ft? They go for as low as $12 without the rba. I have 3 authentic, but can always find a use for 1 or 2 more. They have good reviews on ft.
WelI, tried the T2 liquid last night. I just rinsed the clone kayfun and pulled the silica out of the preset coil that measured 1.6 ohms. I usually am at 1.9 but close enough for me. I put some cotton in and filled up with the T2. First puff I tasted Bazooka Bubble gum. The next few same taste. Wasn't sure if I liked or not. Something just didn't seem right. I will just keep this around and stick to my home brews and unflavored.
I dumped it and took a toothbrush and dishsoap to the kayfun thinking there was some machining oil on it that I missed. I started feeling nauseous. I rewicked and added some of my unflavored to the new kayfun. That funky taste was still there and started feeling nauseous again. I gave up. I may try it in a Smok VCT tonight.
I have the kayfun apart soaking in dish soap for 24 hours. Will see if that cures anything.
My guess is if you like bazooka bubble gum you will like this T2 fruit flavored. I think I may mix it with some other liquid that I don't care and see what happens.
Ohh and I didn't die from it.

Anyway, on first try the flat top battery did not make contact. Took it apart and tried another configuration and it worked. Changed atty to see if it still worked and it did not. Adjusted the top pin again and yet another configuration and it worked. New atty - no work. Tried it with my kick - no contact again. Tried another configuration and the kick worked. Changed the atty and again no contact! It is rather frustrating. This is the first thing I got for FT that is fiddly. Usually everything I get is practically plug and play straight out of the box. Anyway I have now ordered some magnets to see if I can get my batteries to make solid contact all the time.
And if I ever need more mods - which I don't think I will since I have a drawerful of them now - I'll stick to the Caravelas. All the ones on FT are awesome and work brilliantly and consistently.

That is an awesome color. I notice on the discussion forum there's a thread on how to fit these.
Yes, they were actually replying to a question I posted today when I got the mod. Everyone was very helpful and I did try all the configurations they suggested. Problem is it doesn't always make contact so probably a magnet is my only solution. I do love the colour - it really is an awesome deep metallic sort of red and it's a nice well made mod... a bit off on the measurements though so it needs some adjustments.
I simply do NOT have the patience for that I think u guys rock that do!

Well I can't say it was DOA. It did work on some atties and in some configurations. It even worked with the kick with one particular atty. So I cannot in all honesty say it does not work. I always make allowances for the fact that what I am buying are clones. It's only fair. If I complained FT will probably be very accommodating - they alway are. They even sent me a whole mod when one I ordered came without a spring in the switch. I mean they could have just sent the spring, or just the switch but no - they sent the whole mod.
The other day I posted something in a FT discussion. One person had some ideas and then he said something that kind of taught me a lesson. He said - these are mods, you mod them!... meaning you play around with them and try to find solutions. I thought - hey, he is right. I should learn to find solutions like I do in the rest of my life.
