If you haven't noticed, FT also has a nice selection of outdoors and camping tools ;)
No need to be a low-tech hobo.

In the past few days I saw they're also stocking up on fishing stuff, reel, nylon, lures. Back in the day I might have gone for that stuff. It's been a while since I stopped fishing though. :)

I've picked up a few electronic things; cables, usb hub, etc. and have been less than impressed. I could have gotten better quality through Amazon for about the same price. The quality was bad enough to be useless. One connector for my ipod nearly destroyed it and I was afraid I was going to have to find someone to repair it or replace it (pushed the connection up inside). I did fix it for now, but I replaced the cable with a Walgreen's cheapie for a few $ more. Not worth the risk. Most of it had decent reviews -- I tried to edit some of my reviews with no luck.

Thanks for the warning, aikanae. Have to admit I do feel a bit hesitant sometimes when I order stuff. It's just lately I've been ordering things like HDMI cables and such. Hopefully they'll hold up. Must admit I'm slightly concerned as it will be used on a display mounted on a flexible arm.

The flat audio cables I've gotten have been decent, albeit with a feel of being a bit flimsy. They are thin, after all. Wouldn't rely on them surviving hundreds of reconnects. Just to hook up an old phone to my nightstand radio to stream Audible, however - excellent. May not be as fancy as a bluetooth speaker, but I own no such thing. :)

I just made my first fasttech order, too :) I got the Stingray X style mod in blue, and some authentic Sony 18650 batteries. It's not due to ship until 7/14, but I expected a bit of a wait anyway. The Stingray had only three reviews, and all three were great. I also found a youtube review or two that praised the fasttech Stingray.

I hate using bluetooth though. The battery drains so much faster.
You need a new phone. I have a LG G3 (G2 before that) and left my BT on all the time so it connects to my truck and headset. There was no difference in battery life that I could tell when I turned it off.

In that case it really doesn't use much juice (it's basically on standby), but when you're constantly streaming something, GPSing or worst, using it as a modem, it drains fast. But yes, I do need a new phone.

If your contract is up, Amazon has great deals on phones. I got my last 2 phones, the G2 and G3, from them for a penny (free overnight shipping) with a 2 yr contract.

I'm stuck with a dumb phone (with a lot of features). Can't afford smart phone plans, but thanks. That's where I got the one I have (Sony Aino). :)

I'm a non-hi-fi junkie so bear with me. People that are into that waste alot of money but I waste alot on vape gear so we all have our hangups.

I heard HDMI is digital and digital either work or it doesn't. Not different grades but pass/fail.

When I heard that bit I quit buying the high dollar cables and get mine at Harbor Freight or Big Lots. Honestly for one million dollars I couldn't tell you which one s are which by looking at the picture or hearing the sound alone.

That's what you get for buying cheap junk.

Sorry, I had too.
I have bought a lot of "cheap junk" from FT and it all worked great. just receive 2 protank 2 tanks, only took 8 days to get them but I paid a buck extra for faster shipping instead of using their free shipping.liked my orchid V3 so much that I just ordered an orchid V4 yesterday.$9.67 Orchid V4 Styled Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 4.0ml / stainless steel + PC tank at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping it was shipped today and if their shipping remains as fast as its been I should have it by next saturday.

While I do appreciate good sound (without making more of it than that), I think some audiophiles tend towards being fanatics. Nothing wrong with passion, tho.

There's a funny little story of a blind test of the sound quality coming through a Monster cable vs that of a coat hanger. Guess how it goes....

I'm not worried about the picture quality of the cable. As you point out it's digital anyway. However I was a bit hesitant as it will be used on a monitor mounted on a flexible arm - and will move around a lot. Will just have to make sure the connectors don't get a lot of tension.

i took the plunge and ordered three of the five pack of coil heads for my atlantis v2 0.3ohm, claims 70-80 watts..see how it goes..cost was pretty good $5.50 for 5 pack..and four different drip tips to experiment with, i want to find a tip with air vents to try on my starre tank..being in australia im guessing it will be about a month wait time..

5.50 is generic. 12.75 is authentic. You didn't buy the prestige of the brand name, and there might be quality problems.
good thing its not shipped yet im going to cancel them and get the other ones, thanx for the info boss..
